Dr. Lehman is a triple Virgo, and a lot of her writings, which I highly recommend, contain a lot of statistics and charts and things to make things absolutely clear. I had two people at the United Astrology conference that I wanted to go and talk to, one was Dr. Lehman, the other was Dr. Rob Hand.they both answered very important questions for me. If you’re going to study with people, it’s often times best to learn who is the best in the field, and one of those criteria and Astrology is to find out who has one regulus awards.

Very good point about critical thinking. Learning classical/traditional techniques via horary made all my astrology so much better because it makes fine distinctions between the planets/points based not just on their placements, but their movement in time and their relationships to the other planets and points. The whole chart comes alive, instead of it being a static thing to which you must apply rules and exceptions.
Now charts are like handling a hydra, so it forced me to create a methodology, which I had resisted for a long time. Very helpful in consultations for astrologers like myself who have trouble keeping to a time limit.
These finer distinctions also help me give better advice and guidance, uniquely and immediately applicable, instead of the stock/cliche phrases I would reluctantly reach for as a novice.
I didn't think I could love astrology any more than I already did until I learned horary and traditional techniques.

23:23 Apples ruled by Venus: if you slice an apple in half horizontally you'll notice the seeds are dispersed through divisions of 5, just like Venus. Venus goes retrograde 5 times every 8 years. But who said it idk :)

What an intellectually bound individual she is. So much to learn from her and she’s got jokes. I bet it’s a whirlwind controlled conversation sitting across from her. I’m literally blown away but holding on to every word she breathes.

I have had tarot readings where I never asked a question - rather I just let the tarot reader tell me what she saw. And she was pretty accurate, without my having ever asked her a question.
The iching, which I constantly throw, gives me an answer that I meditate on, and mostly find the readings pretty accurate as well. God speaks to us through the iching.
The problem that I have with horary is that a person can think of a question in many ways many different moments before actually formulating a question for a horary chart. So is THAT moment (of the horary chart) really the first time that you are asking the question - when in fact that question (or close variations of it) has entered your consciousness so many times before?

The point of it is that it’s the first time you’re asking the astrologer the question and they understand it. John Frawley speaks to this issue in his Real Astrology book, and Lee addresses it at 1:08 in this video.

OMG! What you said at 48:14 about the Horary chart being the moment underlying any other form of divination, gave me chills!!! Yes!! I see this!🙌🙌🙌

And to add to my earlier comment…I have another astrology channel where I do a horoscope and a tarot card for the day and I am going to start writing down the time that I pull the card and comparing the Horary chart to it!! I love this so much! Thank you!

The acknowledgment of small causal change greatly affecting when fate comes to pass... makes me want to continue looking into triplicity rulership as portions of life cycles. I definitely need to become a student of Lee's. I saw she has a medical astrology course beginning Spring 2021, and I'm definitely saving up for that!
