Love the blue and silver combination. Thank you for sharing your dragon scale recipe, and the resin calculator tip.

My favorite combo: deep red, dark chocolate brown, and pastel sage green.
Those are my decor colors for my home.

Your home must look cool. I love trying colour combos - so rewarding when they compliment each other & work out. 🐉

@@Dragon-Creations I was always taught to pick 1) a main color, 2) a highlight color, and 3) a lowlight color
It’s best if one is a neutral tone. I go by the rule of: pick opposing colors. Then, if I mix my two colors together, what color do I get? It should, ideally, give you your neutral color.

Thank you very much, Sue, for the video - I am learning a lot - it was a very detailed and informative video and the coasters came out beautiful. As a complete novice, I was wondering if you put a teeny weeny layer of SILICONE on the underside of your small moulds, would that make the inside of the larger mould shinier? I know it would make the middle part of the the bigger mould thinner, but surely 1-2 mm would not make that much difference, but it is hard to tell from the angle of the camera above the moulds? Alternatively, would a spray of high gloss lacquer on the underside of the small mould stick to silicone?

Hello Dot great ideas , I am still learning to so we can try things together. I was determined to get mat scale just to see if I could and what they would look like, I did get glossy scales with a thin piece of plastic but wanted the challenge of mat . Thank you for watching and we will learn from each other. ❤️😀🐉

I love, that silver, too! It added a lot to these pretty coasters. This may be a crazy question, but what is the purpose of the insert? Not that I don’t love them because I do. Thank you!

Awesome results, thank you for the numbers and great explanations. Please can I ask what temperature the resin needs to get to before you split it up? Or how long you leave it before you split it up? Thank you.

Hello I measure, split, mix turn on the camera and pour no waiting for a particular temperature. If it is a really cold day I will use a embossing gun to start the scales off other than that I don’t wait for a temperature. 😀🐉❤️

@@Dragon-Creations thank you for your reply. We've tried several times from loads of tutorials (yours was the most informative in the way of measurements thank you), but only achieved the result once. I will post on your Facebook page later with a pic of the one we did yesterday. ❤️
