Love the way you explained this, i had to learn this because i was trying to get in a trade with the same stock, but i always had trouble getting out of the same trade. I found out why, it was because of the wide bid and ask spread!
One thing I’ll always remember a friend of mine, who was a straight a student and I rarely ever saw study. He said he was able to connect all of the different classes in some type of way in his mind, a lot of things revolve around similar concepts, and that’s why it made it so much easier to think about it like an auction because that’s literally what it is.❤️❤️📈📈📈📈
@@BlackGirlStocks how I envy people who don’t study and pass. I am actually going to school for finance and investing and I still had not learned the difference and I was specifically looking for a clear concept to follow. You got your self a new subscriber 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
@@BlackGirlStocks hey so I was on tiblio earlier and I noticed on the earnings play for ABMD they're 100 % bullish on it going up ( predicting up to +30 ). Thoughts ? I did a call debit spread on it for 8/20
I’ll have to research more. I thought the bid and ask (limit orders) are people waiting to fill orders like options exchanging .. nvm. Thank you for the quick response
It depends on the size of what you’re trading; you can use percentages. A $1 difference between 1-10 is a larger difference than between 100-101. 900% vs 1% spread on the $1. That’s a way you can gauge a decent spread amount.
You've got the gist of it! Yup, buying at the ask price and selling at the bid price is a common strategy. Depending on the situation and market momentum, this can work in both the after hours and pre market sessions.
Did you mean when there is more buyers that the price is rising and more seller action the price is dropping? A few more times in the video you mentioned that if the buyers had more support the price would drop and if the sellers had more action the price would ride? So just confused. But great video! Thanks
FINALLY! Someone how not only explained it flawlessly but did it with some personality and was hella entertaining! Thank you gurl!! 🥰💜

06:53 what platform shows you how many orders need to be filled before prices change?
Is this viewable on IBKR?
Thats on any platform with level 2 order book
Does level 2 apply more towards options ?
The level 2 market data just shows the bids and ask at different prices and shows the # of each
If you’re talking about your account upgrade level then that is for options trading. I’m not sure which one you’re referring to

Options have bid ask, stock shares also have bid and ask
Hello, I'm an intraday trader. I trade us30. Would 11.000 be a wide spread. what is considered a bad spread?
