takes me back to when I was living out of my car for a while, there's something so cozy and comforting about being in a warm environment when you're so close to the elements.
I lived out of my car a couple of times, i had a car that had a hatchback, big glass back window the seats folded down, and with a 4" foam pad and sleeping back it was like heaven to sleep under the stars, or when it rained. Its not bad at all, its very freeing.

Remember when dad and i were out with the sailboat 40 years ago on an island in the outer archipelago and it was raining . We ate boiled potatoes and butter fried cod at 23:00 in the evening it was a close to nature experience and a nice one to . It is always easy for me to sleep when it is raining , like a therapeutic moment .

I used to love sleeping in the back of my boyfriend's car. Smoking weed, at a new beach every night, with our boy caspah the dog. It was utter Perfection ❤ this reminds me of those happier free times.

Camping is not common in my country, it's more a luxury, but the closest experience I have to a camper rains is my grandma's house, the corrugated iron roof made this noise every night and it bring back good memories, yeah it was cold af but the tiger blanket saved me (if you are Latino you know what I'm talking about 😂) I remember entirely cover myself and fell sleep with the noise of the rain and thunders, miss those days, here in the city is so dry lol

I traveled across the US with my wive in 2019 in a rented SUV. we either stayed at Motels or slept in the Car. One night we visited yellowstone. During the day it was nice and sunny but suddenly a storm rolled in. We just finished prepairing our bed in the car as it started to rain. We had a glass roof, it was sooo cozy in that car, lightning and hail as it got darker and darker. Slept like a baby.
