My mom has a layover in Frankfurt from a non-Schengen origin (arrives to T2) to a non-Schengen destination (leaves from T1) and she doesn't have a Schengen visa. I was freaking out about how she can change terminals without going through passport control and I tried calling the airlines, the travel agency, the airport and nobody gave me a straight answer! Then I wantched your entire video (literally!!) and saw that transit between terminals airside (without going through passport control) is indeed possible. Thank you very much!! This video made my day.
If you are a non schengen passenger to another non schengen passenger and you have to wait for 12 hours. Can you go from terminal 1 to terminal 2 in train? And the transit area is in the last floor? Cause some videos shows it last floor and others show is ground floor.
You can always go between Terminal 1 and 2 by train. Transit is mostly at the 3rd floor throughout the airport, aside from T1 A/Z where it is on the 4th. But you can access that area by train only anway. Do you have some specific gates you want to know about?
@@GT670DN I watched the video many times honestly it's quite large airport. I have near 9 hours waiting in transit area I think I will try to find the gates by my own. If I was on terminal 1 i can go to terminal 2 by train to pass time and come back to 1 ?
Hi,i will be travelling to Europe as first timer in few days from now. I will arrive in T1 and i need to go to T2 to find that Flix bus going to Innsbruck. Any idea how to find it easy that bus station in T2? Thank you for your answer
So you wil exit landside from T1, go to baggage reclaim and customs. (Assuming you arrive Non-Schengen, since you wrote Europe) From there you can either taker the free shuttle buses to T2 outside the terminal, or follow the signs for Terminal 2 to the Skyline transit systems public carriage, that station is in the same lobby as access to security for B Gates in T1. Signage ist pretty good, so that should not be hard to find. Unfortunately I am not familiar with the exact spot of Flixbus departure.
Somehow this is super cool to watch. Gives me those travel vibes, love it!

18:14 Whats that clicking sound? I've been hearing it throughout the video. Otherwise, amazing video!
These are the joints of the strap from my camera bag creaking a bit, plastic on plastic... :D
Thanks!
I am just wondering if we could hire those jeeps standing at many places to skip walks.
