What interface do you recommend? Also is ryzen suitable for pro tools?

For pure performance power, every Firewire interface/driver I have tested easily outperforms every PCIe, Thunderbolt, and USB device/driver I have tested. MBOX 3 has some blue screen issues, but performance is good. Outside of that, saying what interface I would recommend is a huge question without knowing budget, needs, workflow, etc. I have not dealt with Ryzen yet. Not Thunderbolt capable, does not perform as good as Intel at lower buffers. I am waiting for some fixes and improvements. Some people have been happy with it.

TheGuitardom I mix everyday and do recording about once a week. Trying to find the best solution. What is the specs/the PC you're using in the video and interface :) thanks for getting back to me, I will have to check out what you have when I'm home

Apollo from UAD or AVID or RME. It is really about the driver more than the interface. MOTU drivers kind of suck. Presonus, and Focusrite might be better, but you won't get 64 with those.
