Love my factory heated grips and hope they last years and years... dont shy away from any heated gloves, gear, or base layers if it has a good review. My milwaukee 12v zip up heated hoodie gets abused and so far lasted nearly 8 years on site and walking the dog..
I’ve done the same bikes for fun now after ridding through 5 winters I’ve had enough and car insurance is actually fairly low now just turned 22 last week and it’s just 950, 0 NCD
Did you know serket is the Egyptian goddess of creepy crawlies? Probably why scorpion called it that. I've gotta say, you have made that bike look very sexy.
It’s a great looking bike and what you have done has made look better 👍 I have Oxford Grips on my z400 they were fitted by the dealer when I bought it, I have had the bike over three years and not had an issue with them, however when I bought my daughter’s z125 I asked the same dealer to fit heated grips, I was happy for them to put the Oxford ones on as they were fine for me, but they said they don’t fit them anymore because of issues and now fit ultimateaddons heated grips, which look nicer (integrated switch) and my daughter says they work fine, though it has only be a month since she got it. I think they are reduced on their website at the moment.
It is a nice looking bike (even if we know some paint issues were covered by tank protectors) The gold suits it. I get the adjustable levers, I broke all the fingers on my left hand years ago, so when I decided to get a bike, I discovered the fingers don't like the reaching for the clutch lever... I have to adjust it so I can reach and use it, otherwise my hand ends up aching like crazy when I brought my bike, I wanted an orange one, but the dealer ran out of them days before I was ready to buy it, so Black it was... it blends in with every other bike on the road, that's both good and bad, depending on who's being an idiot. but I still want an Orange one, & the factory panels are cheap enough to swap over to Orange, & the black matte finish wheels??? I hate how they get dirty and hard to clean, so they may have to be a gloss Orange (I hope it doesn't look like I'm trying to turn it into a KTM) I'm wondering... If heated grips keep causing you issues, what about heated gloves instead? or just winter gloves with Marino wool insulation?? (and then you mention why)
Love the ninjas, I'm pillion on the 1400
I think you have done a great job customizing your bike. It looks awesome and the colour scheme is spot on. 👍
Thank you 😊
Get a bit of black vinyl on the rear of the number plate to hide the white
Nice idea
The black with gold wheels works, I might do something similar for my next GSXR400 build. Bike looks super tidy by the way, personalised, not bling.
Thanks!
Love the gold wheels. Great job on looking after. The bike.
Thanks 😊

So far I don't have any heated gear, I just layer up with the hoodie over my leathers. Heard good things about Keis gear though

Wow! Yeah that makes sense 😂 and thank you!
You have done a very good job customizing your motorcycle! The gold rims and the gold stripes makes it stand out. Keep up the great work! 😊👍
Thanks!

Yeah maybe I just have a faulty pair but I fancy trying a different brand 😊
Watching tip toe and eating ice cream
Enjoy 😂

All very nice and subtle mods. I think Noxie needs a new screen though, either dark grey or gold..?
Yeah it's a bit scratched up now. Gonna go for other another clear one or a slight tint
"limited tyre selection"
my gsx125r is also a 130 rear, wish it was slightly bigger, my only two choices were pilot street or pirelli ct angel's
Yeah as soon as you go to 140 the selection is a lot better
Do you perhaps know if the previous owner watches your channel ? 😄
Actually I don't! That would be cool 😂
How many miles have you done on the bike now?
Just crossed 15k and got the bike at 6.5k
@@TipToeBikers clocked up a really good mileage, 😀
