John I know a lot of farmers who struggle to get a straight line with a plough you can strip a Disco engine down!! where on earth did you learn those skills?
Hi John have you sold up lol why did u go from a nice ranger to a bag of bolts disco I had a 16 plate bag of shit I’m back to a warrior reliable. Comfy quick and doesn’t go to a dealer every wk u still got fifth wheel ,???? U get gearbox sorted in fast track ???
Looks like you are getting on well for the nightmare it looks like from here. The one thing you are gaining is you've taken everything apart. I got a Landini tractor here for a guy. The engine knocked the small ends out, a dealer took it apart and told him $15.000 to fix it. Now i'm dealing with a complete bare block recon . I never took 70% of apart including the tractor it's self, the perkins is a pain in the ass to get parts for as it's all got to be measured to find stuff, Part numbers and specs changed for application that really helps !. There is a whole pile of service data out there that changes to over the years they made the engines, so thats not simple either to get a straight answer for this one. My best guess is you'll have this done and running before this tractor is, and you'll have less washers and bits left over. i got a pile of containers of bolts here I'm figuring out, and thinking if I got 1 container left and the things together and runs right Landini over built it in the first place L.O.L. Updating the security after this is a good idea, you'd be pretty mad if the traveling entrepreneurs borrowed it after all that work ! Thanks for sharing so far, take care.
Massive amount of work John - it’s a real credit to you for taking it on - what a job!
