That’s one of my greatest critiques of the show as it goes on, in the very early seasons cosmo and wanda are actually in love, but as it goes on cosmo quickly turns into boomer humor
I'm not sure if Cosmo actually hates his wife. I always thought that they had an old married couple that constantly argue but still love each other energy which was the source of more than a few laughs.

Thats honestly the main beef with run on shows like fairly oddparents, Spongebob, family guy, Bob's burgers, simpsons. They become extremely tiresome. The funniest thing? South Park and Always Sunny out of all of them, are the only ones to actually not completely collapse in on themselves. Yeah they're not the best and the golden years are definitely behind them but they atleast still have some noticeable effort put in.

People think Cosmo hates his wife or he's being offensively sexist, but as I recall growing up from 1999 to about 2011, the husband complaining about his wife was common comedy trope for sitcoms and such. And as for the sexism against girls... well, this show was for kids and it was a pretty common trope for boys to think girls were weird or gross (Or the reverse. I recall the rhyme “boys go to Jupiter to get more stupider, girls go to college to get more knowledge“.) While Cosmo is being sexist, I think its less mean-spirited and just something that played into Timmy Turner being a kid and some of the comedy tropes of the time period. If you want to analyze it further, you could also argue it normalizes violence because Wanda often rebukes Cosmo with some kind of physical attack.
