Not exactly, Jens. The song is actually rather dark, despite the upbeat melody. It's about an occult-obsessed youth who uses 'magic' to force the woman who spurned him to submit. Most of what he does has some similarities to medieval beliefs about witchcraft (like using strands of hair to charm people). The first verse, in particular, gives off the impression that he wants to bewitch the target of his obsession and incarcerate her within his house to keep her for himself, completely disregarding her own will ('Du hast keine Wahl' not only means 'you've got no choice' but also implies 'whatever you do'. As I said, not particularly pleasant.
@@RagingGoblin The Music video gives some life to the dark undertones. Particularly that in the end, the obsessed person winds up trapped in their own beliefs, unable to break free as they intended to entrap their prey.
Becavse 1) they write themselves this way, sometimes; 2) u and w (double-u, getit?) are rather modern inventions within the latin alphabet: In the original, they vsed to be all the same with the letter v, and pronovnciation wovld depend on circvmstance. and 3) It is the kind of information one does not reallyhave a use for, unless one gets a tenure^^
Mistake in the video, guys. I stupidly put "Seven" at 2:08 when it should read "Six".
Man, you deserve more comments on these videos. I just discovered this band, thanks to who? You! Oh man, a +1000 Like :D
Classic German Love song. He has Seven loves but each one cannot silence his desire for love.
Er liebt so viel, dass er nicht genug von jedem seiner Lieben bekommen kann
Klassisches deutsches Liebeslied Er hat Lieben, aber jeder kann seinen Wunsch nach Liebe nicht zum Schweigen bringen.
what's the song really about? Besides the fact that the guy loves the number 7!
ist more about the number 7 itself :) the number has lucky / unlucky Backgrounds in the history of mankind
