@@RustingPeace Ehh.... Its hardcore, but with thrash type stuff. Its absolutely in the mould of stuff like Circle Jerks or Bad Brains, but its got a streak of metal picked up from super early thrash bands like exodus. Think of it as punk as interpreted by 1980s skatebording weedlords.

Dave Lombardo officially a family member now. Those of you that don't know Dave played in a side project band with former ST guitarist Rocky George and Slayer's Jeff Hanneman in a band called "Pap Smear". They never made an album sadly, but two of their original songs ended up on Slayer's Undisputed Attitude in the mid-90s re-recorded by Slayer. The songs are "Can't Stand You" and "DDAMM" (Drunk Drivers Against Mad Mothers) if you want to hear what they were up to. Cheers from the Funeral Home \m/ - u - \m/

Funny that Lombardo was out of Slayer back in '92 and didn't make it in time to fill in for RJ Hererah! I'd only!

Album came out in 1983, but 1990's, 2000's skaters loved it as much as 1980's skaters..........or today's skaters. Blew my mind listening to the LP in 1983, going WTF, this is awesome! They are getting old but playing the same great stuff.

gm junior I think he's just happy being wanted. He really dumbed his drumming down for this to Lars type level. I read Dave keeps having them record music but Mike said he might release an ep that this was last album ST will do. Cause of the way recording in studio has changed. He doesn't like it

Check out his drumming with his other band Dead Cross with Mike Patton. Totally different style for Dave.
Slayer is one of my few favorite bands of all time and as a drummer he is the Superman of the real life, is very nice see that he is happy playing with ST and he is very appreciated (they give him a lots of drums solos to do) like he's has never been in Slayer

I got to hang out wit ST in 1987 when I was on tour with Hank Williams jr. ST was playing at the club that the movie Purple Rain was filmed . Josh Paul got my slap and pop in bass up to speed. I still have my cap Psycho Mike gave me.

I remember being 14 yrs old and having their 1st album (self- titled) and listening to "I saw your mommy" and I fuckin loved it and at the same time I had Slayer " Haunting the Chapel " fuckin ripping and now Mike and Dave together .... Holy fuckin shit what a fuckin awesome addition !!!!
