Him breaking up with her for that reason made the story really stand out to me. It’s such a realistic approach and opposite of the whole glorified “unhealthy love” Hollywood represents. The fact that Marcus still broke up with her so he can get better first to become better for her, the show sends a really good message imo
that's cause they weren't just in love they had love for each other which is something that never goes away. Look at georgia and zion. Emotional intimacy tethers you to that person, breaking that relationship off is like ripping a oneness apart; it's a part of you that's torn off.
I think Marcus is one of my favourite series characters ever. Because I've expected him to be another typical bad boy but it turned out he's nothing like that. Just as insecure as Ginny and loving and caring. I've got a huge crush on him. I'm a bit too old for him though 😂

Did affect him a little bit more especially because he already thought that she was too good for him and he said he didn’t want to mess it up but as he said he didn’t want to hold her back And then someone is they didn’t need to you know take a break from one another but it really just hurt because when Georgia heard ginny say he made me feel safe it’s the I never have it before but like at the same time though I’m just heartbroken they better make a season 3 and they need to make them get back together or just work everything out because I want us to gosh

It was not OK specifically saying that her daughter might leave one day and understandable she’s broken and toxic. She thinks her daughter is brilliant and she doesn’t want somebody else to be I guess a broken and some out of toxicity in her daughters life and she thought her daughter was like a normal in a sense you know like not dealing with any depression not being broken in that sense, so I feel as if they didn’t have that conversation, and Georgia would’ve known beforehand they probably would’ve stuck stay together and then having that conversation saying she felt safe with him was a whole other thing, but I don’t know if Georgia didn’t say that would they still break up like Marcus did say that he doesn’t want her to be responsible for his happiness he needs to be happy within himself, so I don’t know. I just want them to be back together next season and work it out.
