I literally just bought one of those clicker heater things @ a thrift store, bigger, meant for neck & shoulders, for $3 (say, 30-45 min ago). I believe these manufactured ones are silver acetate. I know they work by making a superdaturateed soludion that precipitate out of solilution when disturbed by the clicker, or your spring snapping. The bonds breaking release energy as heat. It'd be cool to be able to make my own, though. Kudos for your video!!
welding.. you should DIY welding electrodes for stick, that can be used with a welding machine made from microwave- you can get flux core wire that doesnt require shielding gas as well.. maybe if you make some device that can work for a TIG welder that would be quite something. maybe slowly pumping air through charcoal, nitrogen CO2 and CO comes out. but for TIG welding we usually use like 10 bars of gas interesting with spring to crystallize, never seen that before as chemist
In United States concentrations of 70% vinegar is considered a hazardous chemical, typically even cleaning vinegar is only at 6% so it is not readily cheap in store which typically only has a 3-5% diluted solution as per legal law for food stores.
The spring gives a shock wave and because of this shock wave the composition begins to crystallize and heat up. After recharging by boiling, everything is ready for new use. 🤖
Well, it looks pretty cool but , 🤔there wasent explanation to what we were really seeing. 👀First you start off talking about a heater with no explanation for what it is and how and why it works, then you start telling us of other cool ideas you had, and did, but then you go back to the original story without explanation of anything like you saying, just guess whats happening and why, I'm not going to explain the spring or how things function or why, hope you liked the video. WHATS UP WITH THIS STORY?🤔
I've always wanted to make a hand warmer like that, didn't know it was as easy as just heating up sodium acetate, I think you can even buy sodium acetate as is here in sweden
No it's not. You can buy 25% in german supermarkets with no problem. And looking through my usual online chemical providers I immediately found a German source for 100% acetic acid, where you don't even have to be 18, a Dutch one; same conditions. And a Polish one; same thing. At least the first two are absolutely proper, no funny business. The Polish one is kinda scetchy when it comes to transport safety. But none of them sell prohibited chemicals to private citizens.
One consistent Haye for all of your videos is how ypu don't stay on topic of what video is about. You always add clips of completely different things you have made. Stop doing that.
I really like Mr Robo for your icon description it's cool like the direction thinking

I have some of these. They have a little metal clicker inside that's makes them do the same thing. Less than half that size for 5 bucks years ago.

@@mister-robo Hi, feel like a chat ?
You always amaze me
I am very glad that my video is attracting interest.😊🤝🤖
Good idea,
please what is the name of the software you used to design the fonel ?
Great video we need more brilliant minds to create new energy sources.

When you slap the bag with a ruler. Will this activate it too?

Of corse that is only from various data I read through
how to renew the crystallization cycle? do you use the same bag or pour the crystal into the pot?
To do this, just boil the bag in a water bath. Just put the bag in boiling water and wait for the crystals to dissolve.
Nice
Buy 16 to1 non brewed condiment its 16% when dilutet 16 pt water to 1 pt fluid (artificial vinegar) use neat its a very strong acetic acid

How did the spring in a shrink tube cause that reaction?
The spring gives a shock wave and because of this shock wave the composition begins to crystallize and heat up. After recharging by boiling, everything is ready for new use. 🤖
@@mister-robo so you boil it to bring it back to a liquid state?

For how long the heating exist???????
It depends on the size of the package. For me it takes about 30 minutes.

Hello! I'm glad to see you again! Yes, you can simply buy sodium acetate, melt it down, and make a useful heater. 🤖🤝
70% vinegar is prohibited in EU as a hazardous instance. Best you can get is a 9% solution.

@@aprilliac Stabiliy ? lol, EU is unstable as shit, and we're the carpet of the world, and it's full of corruption
you lost me at the funnel. you've got a 3D printer yet can't afford a funnel? wtf?
