Now that I think about it Magicant is formed by your subconscious. The reason why Maria's Magicant and Ness' Magicant are different is simple: Maria is an adult so her subconscious mind was able to create an organized world with a normal population. Ness is still a kid so his mind isn't that organized and kids have a lot of imagination, that explain the strangeness of his Magicant. I may be wrong tho.

What I love about Magicant in Mother 1, is how much of an important role it plays in the story. I love it’s charming fantasy style nature and it’s peaceful music. It helps drive home how beautiful each Mother game is.

Magicant, a world unlike any other... I absolutely love how you portrayed Ninten's interactions with the Magicantians, the shopkeeper, and Queen Mary. I also like the detail of how the Magicantian girl who talked about her nightmare bears an almost striking resemblance to Ana. Everything about this short is just... magical!
Queen Mary's story is pretty sad but also very uplifting, filled with love and hope. This game might have its flaws, but its incredibly advanced for its time in my opinion
In my opinion, this kind of thing is the best way to remember Mother 1/ Earthbound Beginnings. Being on the nes, the game is a little rough around the edges nowadays, but with people like you keeping its spirit alive in such creative ways, it can still be enjoyed for generations.
