If I were to use a high power external vacuum cleaner would the air flow provided by that be sufficient for aluminum?

Absolutely! The external bypass allows for a larger vacuum cleaner or dust collection system to be connected for this purpose

i have troubles with saving files with the makera CAM, sometimes they will fail to reopen and the files get corrupt, it also sometimes crashes when you add operations to different layers. Hope you fix this bugs soon
