Tushar fit in all format 😍
- First off.. what fantastic use of light design and mixed media..on point!
- Second, to do such acrobatics with a prop on the head and a dupatta across his chest which could have loosened up and opened mid-way through the somersault.. **sweating in fear for him** Kudos to the costume team for fixing these well.
- Third.. what beautiful transitions between his flips, the bharatnatyam and maintaining his character..(same as the girl with the changes between classical to the oriental undulations)
- Fourth, amazing self-assuredness and confidence of the girl to match the power of the male performer despite her size (which could have led to comparisons in the strength of their dancing) She held herself great and didn't let go of her character even for a split-second! Not even when she was re-inserting the trident into the prop stand/rock.
- Fifth, I thought for sure she was about to slip/lose her footing a couple of times during the risky moves..well managed! Lovely spear-rotations! Brilliant change in expressions from anger to calmness at the end by the female dancer. Risky fall there by the guy (thought he fell bad on his wrist) but still kept up the act.
- And finally.. kudos to the channel for promoting Indian arts as compared to other channels which only go with the supposedly more popular western forms (which are also nice, but it's been an overdose the last few years). All-in-all, this was a visual treat and delight! Would love to see more such theatrical dance enactments!
