Great video. It’s cool to see an old gun that still goes bang bang bang and looks like it did 100 years ago. Seeing new gun videos is great but seeing one with an old gun like that is even better.
Hello from Northern Ireland. The Greener GP is the civilian version of this police gun. They came with 28” 30” and 32” barrels, most with full choke. I saw one of these police guns for sale they are much rarer than the civilian model. It’s £475. I am very tempted after watching your video it looks like a good shooter
That's cool and unique, I've not ran across one of those before. Pops had a double barrel Steven's Damascus barrel 26 inch barrels and I hunted Cumberland Mtns with it a few times , I had to use lite loads , it was made very early 1900s ,get burn up in the fire man I miss that one. We get that from my Great Aunt and it was her father's shotgun. Interesting gun you have there, enjoyed the video. Stay Strong 💪 🙏🇺🇸
@@SGT1911 Watch the video with my Dad, I told him this is my buddy Sgt 1911 so he enjoyed it. Lol he and I have talked for hours today. Thanks for sharing !
I dig it! I love ol' guns, especially the ones that have protected & served those that have protected & served us. I'm trying to picture it w/the bayonet. I'd keep it either way.
It still shoots just like it did 100 years ago. Imagine what it could tell us if it talked. Where has it been a d what has it done in whose hands. Thanks for watching gunfighter, I appreciate it
In the case of the Greener there wasn't much protect and serve but plenty of shooting into crowds of protesters across the British Empire. It's a great gun , built extremely well and with the G P model an affordable , quality built gun . Still plenty of people using them in Ireland and Britain.
Thanks for doing a video on something different. I have a action and barrel (the barrel didn't come with the action) for one. I don't know if it's worth spending any money on to try to put it back stock. My barrel is marked 2 3/4. So I don't think that it is one of those that takes the weird Egyptian rounds. Keep up the great work!
That's awesome. I'd check into it and see what load it was built to handle. I would think yours is in prime condition by the looks of it, and the guards tended to have serious firepower. No rubber slugs back then. They tend to shoot to warn or shoot to kill. Great looking gun. Thanks for the video. Loved it. 😎👍
Great video, got to love the oldies, a rare beast. From what I am told the last two digits of the serial number is the year of manufacture. Very strong guns, I have a mark1 from 1921, with modern 900 bar proofing. That about 5.8 long tons per sq/inch in pagan units. Against all information I can find, mine is in 16 gauge and shoots well and ejects strongly.
@@SGT1911 They were used in British prisons and colonies for riot control. With the woodwork, its a steel reinforced club with optional shotgun. It can be carried loaded and cocked, just flick the safety and its good to go. Mine is from Egyptian police, it found its home eventually. Stay safe, stay lucky.

@@grathlingillingham5135 same
The action is the same as the Martini-Henry rifles used at the "Rouke's Drift" battle against the Zulus
That is true.
Many had a 2.5“ chamber so don’t fire 2.75” in them.
It would not fit. Also sone had off center primers. Thanks for watching
I love me a war club. HOOAH
Yeah man. Hooah
