Yours is the only video which shows how to secure the ends of the fishing line so they don't come out or prickle the wearers legs. Very important info. Use of the hairdryer too. Thank you.
You are AMAZING! As a complete beginner in bellydancing, I didn't even know what to start with to create the result I want to get, and you demystified it for me! Thank you very much! ♥♥♥
A nice simple comprehensive tutorial I couldn't ask for anything better thank you very much for time and energy to make this video I'm not a belly dancer or anything similar I'm a cosplayer and I am currently wanting to undertake a larger project then I'm used to and I truly believe that this would be the selling point for the look I'm going for which is inspired by ethereal Chinese princesses mostly from the movies and the character I'm designing has a lot of water wind ice elements so this will definitely bring that Vision to life and hopefully let me win the up and coming competition while hopefully making the Venture of hemming the more delicate material that much easier
I love the tip to use a curling iron! I didn't love another tip I heard of the microwave or steam of iron. I'm sure they work, but this will be my method. Thank you for the wonderful video!
The only thing is that I watched another video that uses a rolled hem foot, which avoids the need to trim away excess fabric! :) But, either way it's an amazing effect!
I like using rolled hem foot getting started was always the hardest for me.....I would wrap mine around smaller dowel and swirl in bowling water for like 20 or 30 seconds when I was making pageant skirts for toddlers
I LOVED THIS TUTORIAL!! SUPER HELPFUL!!! Thank YOU for making this!! I will share it with everyone I know to help you get views and subscribers! Going to use this to make LILLYKAT channel outfits....YOU ARE AWESOME!!
I looked this up, and one source says 40lb fishing line is 0.6mm. But I would look for a stiff type of fishing line that keeps its shape, not for a specific thickness because there are types that don't curl like one in the video. Hope this makes sense!

I always thought you had to use a rolled hem foot or a serger so I was always too intimidated to try this! Thank you for this video!
You are so welcome!
I was wondering is this technique washing machine safe or does it mess up the curls of the fishing line?

Hi mam..how many mm size fishing line use.
