This version of rhythm ta is so goood and different from the original. They always put their own ateez twist when they do covers. One great example is their immortal song stages where different artist do a cover for the same artist and ateez are insane there! They have won already 4 times there
What’s crazy is how ATEEZ teased The World Ep 1 way back here during Kingdom. Their story is set up so far ahead. And they tease things you have no idea they’re teasing way in advance.
One of my favs too! So in this round of Kingdom, groups had to reimagine versions of another group's song. ATEEZ had to cover iKON's song, and they chose 'Rhythm Ta'. ATEEZ's version is SO different, really their style, more intense than the original. Sadly not on spotify...! And at 2:30 it was San hitting that high note! And the ending with the hourglass linked to both their lore AND to the start of their Kingdom 'Wonderland' performance too. PLEASEEE do react to the Immortal Songs (6 performances! but happy to recommend like top 3 if helpful) AND their dance practices!!! Like for real - they are so so so special. And like hardly any reactors do Immortal Songs, but they are iconic (again covers, but no lipsyncing, and ATEEZ has the most wins of any idol group on the show EVER with 4 wins). Wonderland was the best out of all but this one is my personal fav from Ateez Kingdom. I recommend Immortal Songs performances! the original is Rhythm Ta by ikon and a fact about this, San hurt himself around this time (3:00) and still performed to the max until the end :( when they released the fancams you can see him limping), it doesn’t get more professional than that, ateez put their all in their performances. You mentioned a studio version… I would give so much for a studio recording of ATEEZ’s Rhythm Ta! I love the original by IKON, but this is almost a completely different song. Also… this performance points out how much thought they put into their storyline. If you watch this and then Guerrilla, you will see all the parallels. The words in the beginning, the flyers, the blimp with the anarchy symbol, and the general point of the stage are all used in Guerrilla. I was so excited when I saw the Guerrilla Official Trailers. If you haven’t watched those… definitely do! They will give you a lot of insight to where the storyline is. Like short movies…

This is iKon’s Rhythm Ta. The task for this episode of Kingdom was to take another artist’s song and make it their own. iKon is also on Kingdom and they’re fans so they chose it. The original Rhythm Ta sounds completely different. SF9 covered Taemin’s Move and man….it’s steamy 😂 BTOB covered Stray Kids Back Door. Stray Kids covered BTOB’s I’ll Be Your Man (and Han slaaaaayed). The Boyz covered SF9’s Ole Sole Mio. rhythm ta is one of the earliest songs from a group called Ikon, who were also on kingdom w/ ateez & skz! I can't remember if it was their debut but it's definitely a classic. Ikon's discography in general is crazy good, but rhythm ta is what convinced me the first time I heard it, you should check it out!
