His EYES are magic! I enjoyed his style, presentation, and delivery; he engages us well and I can see he really captivated his audience! This guy definitely deserves to have his own show or something -- I'd love to see more of him. I especially liked watching his paper-to-egg trick and hearing him tell a childhood story about his grandfather. That was so sweet. *:)* All in all, Ben is truly entrancing!

I’m so addicted to his final performance here with the cards.
What he did was so carefully done, and executed so flawlessly. And the way he told the story, it was just so breathtaking.
His delivery is as impressive as his illusions. Very well done. I cant imagine the hours and hours this young man has in doing these awesome tricks.
We need to alarm the Ministry of Magic that there's a wizard showing magic to the muggles!

Here we have a perfect example on how the judges are manipulating the votes and results. Look at 12:23, Amanda is looking at David and Alesha not so sure about standing up and you can clearly see Alesha and David ordering her to sit down. That's a shame! And honestly, I expected better from Mister David Williams.....

Second, we all can see that Amanda was ordered to sit down by both David and Alesha and I'm sorry, but that's not right. No judge should order another what to do. This unless they are biased and the game is "fixed". A judeg should have all the freedom to choose if he/she will support an act or not. If they don't have that freedom, then it's fixed. As simple as that! Last, YOU are biased too. You said "but at the end they are still standing for make sure his happy". However the truth is that Amada stood up and was ordered to sit down and NONE of the other judges, besides Simon, stood up. So what you said is a lie. But tell me, and everyone else.... Hes got charisma, the right look, sound of voice and confidence. His act is pretty damn good too. But as I've seen in other comments, I could see this guy scooped up into acting

We all know the magic is illusion only.
This guy is magic though, his presentation, the vibe he gives off, the way he touches your heart with the story, brings your childhood imagination back to life, and makes it feel like magic is his truly magical ability.
He's wonderful.

The paper to egg remains the most baffling trick I have seen.

It's called the camera stopping.. Don't y'all use your brains.. It's all fake the audience is all paid seat fillers the judges the "magic man" they all get paid it's all fake... When u see the cameras view change that mean the camera was stopped.. Think of it as recording and pressing pause then record again

2) the piece of confetti was a gimmick that would turn from a small piece of paper to a egg shaped object when jostled like it was.
3) while this part isn't shown, I believe he had a real egg in his pocket (he had his hand in his pocket right before this) and he switched it out with the fake egg.

As Jason McKinney said but a bit more detailed;
1. The only piece that stays in the glass is too heavy to float out. Notice how it's the only one rolled up in a ball.
2. The piece with 'egg' written on it is actually a paper egg balled up with a reagent inside that, when shook/jostled, releases a gas that expands the paper egg into its bloated form.
3. There was a real egg in his pocket, some slight of hand and voila; real egg is switched out, cracked and the rest is your brain thinking it's all the same egg you saw.

The best trick on here was Simon's hair getting darker as he got younger as time went on. The illusionist shows up and Simon is gray. Next time he says, "Last time I was here..." and SImon's hair is dark ! MAGIC ! :)

The one with the egg can be found here on UA-cam. Don't know if all pieces of paper has "egg" on it or if there is a way for him to take that one on the fan (maybe hidden in a fold of the fan).
The one with Annika i would say that the plan had a mark before on Annikas seat and the woman with the pen did not leave any mark because it was a dry pen and Annika and her Twin sister is part of Bens Act.
But its all really well performed and hope he is making more tricks in the future because he is very talented.
Don't know the other ones, but i think there are already reveals on UA-cam as well.

I think more than the magic, it's the presentation that is the key, which makes it impressive. Otherwise on the teleporting act, how obvious can it be. He sends the paper plane into the audience, the random lady who catches the plane is given a pen that has no ink and does not work. But since she is writing behind her back, she thinks she marked on the paper. But in reality, the paper plane already has a mark on the pre determined seat where one of his people is sitting. That person has a twin who is already hidden under the 2nd enclosure, so when the curtain falls, the so called random person from the audience goes under the cover in the enclosure 1, while her twin climbs from underneath the other enclosure. And she acts all surprised confused when the curtain raises, obviously, part of the act. Its magic, we just enjoy it.

The person selected is definitely in the know on the trick. So if you work it backwards, the dot must have already been on the paper and the pen made no mark.

This was perfect! His act was so amazing, it makes you believe that true magic is real and it’s not just an illusion. These are the magicians I want to see, the ones that truly leave me speechless and thinking magic is a real thing.

it is not so difficult to figure out ho he does it. you just have to know you can fold a piece of paper in a way, so it will open it self to a ball when bounced. know about twins, know about decks where every second card is smaller than normall. and slide of hands and so on. but he is good.

That’s what I thought. I thought the egg trick was really neat but then the obvious fake time travel (teleportation whatever it may be) kinda ruined the whole act. Just me though. Not to mention the acting she had LOL as if I wouldn’t have been a little bit more surprised

@Stephen Glarvey Agree, too many camera angles and surplus footage, tempts the editor not to waste them but over use, which makes 'special moments' appear repetitive. Simon in his pre-botox, pre-grey hair days was less manufactured and more fun to watch.

Simon claims to hate magic acts but watching his face when he watches them is a treasure. He is always so absolutely mesmerised and baffled. Exactly right.
All part of the act. That's one of the great features of magic, having great actors.
Actually, he claims to love and respect magic acts. On the newer episodes released just since covid has been a thing, when the show was released on Hulu, he makes that very clean during a magical act. He's loud and proud and seemingly passionate about how he welcomes and even UNDERSTANDS it for what it is

First trick: he selects the paper, it isnt random, its stuck to the fan all along, so he knows it Will read ‘egg’. The egg part is slight of hand, he swaps the beanbag on the fan for an egg at some point.
Trick 2: he does threw the paper plane out to a random person, but the pen she is using doesnt write anything, instead there is a preplaced dot on the map. The woman who ultimately gets chosen for the act is an actress. When she is placed in the cage and the curtain falls down, she hides in a secret compartment, while her twin/lookalike emerges from the other cage.

He took the paper before she could see it was already marked (and he covered it with his thumb). The marker didn't actually write anything. The "random audience member" was a planted assistant.

The first trick is the most unbelievable
He has incredible movie-star quality, his act is (seemingly) single, classic and beautiful, he is classy and charming.
He even has like the perfect look for his profession.. btw I personally think his first trick with the teleporting girl was his best performance. I def liked it waaay better than that last one (which I didn't really care for)
