It's ok to use the controller with that cable. But all I can say is that the quality is very bad. I strongly recommend you to buy the cheapest soundcard, and everything will change. Trust me. For the records, try Focusrite

Hey, how did you get your crossfader to work whilst using Rekordbox? I can't get mines to and online it tells me the crossfader function on the DDJ-200 isn't compatible for Rekordbox.
Greetings bro. I'm using my crossfader since I bought this little machine. Try not using the phrase sync, deactivate that button and it shoul work. If not, maybe you have some issues with your ddj200. I never had any problems with mine. Or you can take a look in Recordbox and see if it is set up with ddj200. Prefferences menu from Recordbox can give you the opportunity to set your machine however you want. Good luck, and let me know if you made it 🙌🙌

For DDj 200 Recordbox comes for free and You have also the interface of DDj 200. To record your mix You have to press the red button for Record. You will see it on your map, above the fx button on your PC/laptop.

Yo bro, Im looking for a starter controller for my girlfriend. in the price range are the Pioneer DDJ-200 and the Hercules Inpulse 300. I know the DDJ-200 has the 3.5 splitter and and each connected device only receives a mono channel, one for the headphones and one for the connected speakers. What I haven't found out yet is that it is also possible to output the sound through the connected PC via stereo (and the speakers connected there), and use the 3.5 port on the controller for mixing and pre-listening through the headphones. Or is it then only possible to connect the headphones to the PC as well for pre-listening? (Sound Card recommended probably) Thanks for your help!
Greetings bro. My advice for your girlfriend is to achieve the ddj200. It has a very big potential to can do everything you want. And it's easy to connect it. The USB cable must be connected to your PC, and your headphones also has to be connected in your PC via headphones jack port. If you have a soundcard is better. If you want yo prelisten with ddj 200 you must use Recordbox, and in the prefferences and audio menu, you will everything you want to do with the device. Don't use that splitter. Use the headphones port from your device, and if you use Recordbox, go to prefferences - audio and go to the headphones settings. Let me know if you made it. But I strongly recomand you to use a soundcard.

Bro, don't use the splitter cable. Try to achieve a cheap sound card, and go to prefferences in recordbox in sound section. Activate the sound card in your software, after that you will never have any other issues with this controller
Greetings. You plug your DDJ 200 to your laptop, after that open recordbox. Regulary it has to connect automaticly, but If not, go to preferences and and connect it manualy. Preferences -> Console (select your console) and it has to work.
I can't connect DDJ 200 to rekordbox, mixer is on but none of these buttons work on rekordbox. I searched inside for ddj200 drivers but there is nothing to choose. Im using windows laptop. Please help 😔😔😔
They block my videos only if i use tracks that are not allowed to be used by someone else but the owner. It's very important to have permission from the owner, or to specifie în description that you don't own the music.

Directly from my focusrite sound card. I connected my camera to the soundcard, and all you hear it's all that happens

Hi great set. I have the same controller, I am using a splitter cable but the headphone cue comes out the speaker aswell. I Can not find anything on this problem, Is there any chance you have an idea?
there should be an option for "split output" in your software. Make sure that is enabled

Bro, don't use the splitter cable. Try to achieve a cheap sound card, and go to prefferences in recordbox in sound section. Activate the sound card in your software, after that you will never have any other issues with this controller

Greetings. You plug your DDJ 200 to your laptop, after that open recordbox. Regulary it has to connect automaticly, but If not, go to preferences and and connect it manualy. Preferences -> Console (select your console) and it has to work.

What laptop are you using and how does it compare to a MacBook with this application? I’d prefer a laptop over using my phone and I don’t want to drop big money on a MacBook just yet.
