Love little free libraries! I often bring one book and leave it at the first and take something, then drop it at the next, and so on. To mix up the inventory!! I stop if I find one to keep!!
Yes get a straight side cupboard and then put a slanted to one side roof so the rain will run off. Sit it on a platform And put the pole (4 x4) at least 3 feet in the ground so it doesn't get pushed or blown over in storms. I think this will ensure that it will stand for years.
I love little free libraries but the bigger the better. Also you dont necessarily need to leave a book everytime you take one. There are plenty of people like myself who unload books without taking any so it evens out in the end.
That's what I'm hoping! We took a good little handful while we were on vacation recently, but didn't have any to leave. It feels a little weird, but I know that's how it often works.
I would have grabbed the stickers for sure 😅 and the Everyone one the moon is essential personnel, what was that haha Oh and the RBG one! This area looks so much like an American movie, all the flat wide streets lined with American looking houses. Pretty and very American 😊 Those mountains though, where in the US is this? I like that this is half scouting for books and half construction inspection for your future library 😅 Lovely vlog!
Interesting that you notice the American-ness of here! But so true. I'm in Utah, and I never get tired of our mountains. I love them so much! (Also I'm starting to get a bit obsessed about checking out everyone's LFLs, but now we just need to start building our own!)
@@sueysbookbanter Haha yes, it's very obvious from my side of the world :) I thought it might be Utah, but then I thought, Ellen, there must be more mountains in the US that aren't in Utah... but there you go! They are beautiful, I would never get tired of them either! Like a postcard but with magic

Fun idea!
I just went to one today and found The night Circus. Yaay
Girl Who Drank The Moon is very good. I did the audiobook. Very Studio Ghibli vibes, in my opinion.
Ah, I might have to go back to this one and get it!!
I second this.
Thanks for stopping by my library. I would have taken the Snyder books and the girl who drank the Moon.
I am regretting that I didn't take them!

I'm gathering all kinds of pictures of ones I like... I'm hoping my husband can build it if he sees a picture!

I love Little Free Library hunting. I want to start one too. There’s only one in Salem so I definitely think we need another.
Awesome! That would be so fun!
Fun video! It's so cool that you are considering putting one on your property.
Here's hoping it all works out!

Cute... or something anyway. But thanks!
