      The pineapple works when it’s the real pineapple and not artificial flavored pineapple BUT coupled with a clean diet..,
      No artificial sweeteners, MSG, etc so flavoured drinks, alcohol, and Red Bull makes you taste like crap

    Idk Ive known several that are infertile from an IUD. They can migrate and cause serious problems so if you’re serious about starting a family you might wanna pick something else..

      To my knowledge there is no certain function but there are theories that - the hymen is there to help prevent bacteria and foreign matter entering the vagina, specially when you are an infant and don’t have full control.
      The hymen can break or thin for a gazillion different reasons including sports such as soccer, bike riding, horseback riding, swimming…

    Except there are those rare cases where iuds caused infertility and such due to becoming implanted in the uterine wall and sometimes cause the need for a hysterectomy

      Theres other things that have a chance of causing infertility. It’s just the chance you’re willing to take. Everything has risks. Even getting pregnant. There are always risks you can’t tell the future.

    The first one definitely is a myth. That thing can tear if you look at it wrong 😑
    But real pineapple is a go to for smexy vacations with my husband, and I can absolutely taste the difference.
    And IUDs come with a ton of potential risks that can lead to infertility: it can puncture the uterus, get stuck in the wall and be un-retrievable requiring ultrasound guided surgery to find and remove it, and a friend of mine actually had an allergic reaction to hers and got an infection in her uterus and abdomen causing her to eventually need a full hysterectomy. Those are just some of the risks. Misplaced IUD risk, the risk for a punctured uterus, and increased risk for infection were all in the informational guide given to me by my doctor who was trying to suggest it was a great option for preventing pregnancy. I told her absolutely not. I went for the Nexplanon instead and she was like “but that has a risk for mortality, wouldn’t you rather have the IUD instead?” And I was just like “I would like to have more kids in the future, and if I can’t because I messed up my uterus then I would probably wish I had died instead. No thank you.”
    A doctor from that same hospital wanted to biopsy my uterus instead of taking the Nexplanon out when I had been bleeding for 28 straight days and I had to harass them repeatedly to take it out and leave my uterus alone until we were sure it wasn’t the birth control. Turns out, it was the birth control. That same doctor that wanted me to get the IUD was the doctor who suggested I get a test for Down syndrome done during my pregnancy by inserting a needle into my uterus while I was 23 weeks pregnant and only 26 years old, with no family history. There are really doctors out here doing their most to try to stop you from having kids. I changed hospitals and doctors for my 3rd trimester and delivery, but my insurance wanted me to go back to that hospital for postpartum care. After that second doctor removed my Nexplanon while whining about it the whole procedure, I left that insurance and that care network and never went back.

      IUD migration can happen, but it’s extremely rare. the risk is about 0.2% in the first year. the myth is that a normal, uncomplicated IUD causes infertility (which isn’t true). your doctor definitely sucked though, idk why they said nexplanon has a mortality risk because that’s not true!! it sounds like she was just trying to scare you into an IUD, super unethical.

    • @DiscoChixify
      @DiscoChixify 22 дні тому +1

      @@Lucy-fn9rj Nexplanon can migrate to the lungs, chest, or arteries. And migration can be caused by weight gain, improper placement or technique, or injury to the arm after proper placement. Because of those things it does come with a risk of death, and risk of death is listed in the pamphlet.
      Just because something is rare doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Things should not be ruled out just because they’re rare. That’s how people’s symptoms end up being ignored for years and then suddenly they die of cancer.

    just a note for countering misinfo online: it’s best practice to put the “it’s not true” bit in the same line as the myth. unfortunately, some people will see this video and their brain will just remember “IUDs cause infertility” and forget the part at the top saying it’s a myth. it looks clunky, but putting something like “(not true)” in the same line helps!

      I used an IUD for 8 years and have gotten pregnant twice since having it removed. From what I have read, long term hormonal birth control (either the pill or IUDs) delays the average time it takes to get pregnant by a month compared to others. But everyone is different and bodies change, especially with age as a big factor affecting fertility rates.

      They asked me if I thought about birth control again when I came into the maternity ward in labor. I said No thanks, and left it at that. They asked me if I wanted an IUD placed afterwards, WHILE GETTING READY TO PUSH. Not only is the migration risk so high when placed directly after birth, who the hell are they to ask in the first place? I was TTC 5 years before naturally conceiving my boy by the grace of the universe. Maybe I’d like to be cautious about screwing with my fertility? Best of luck TTC, I heard a lot about “when you stop worrying it’ll happen” and that made me so mad all the time. I did finally stop worrying and “accept fate”and conceived lol. But I did a lot of lifestyle changes too, cut sugar way down, stopped using aluminum deodorant and shampoos/conditioner with extra chemicals and perfumes. I know it sucks to hear how those things have helped someone else and you’re still TTC after trying those things too. I always stuck to something along the lines of: if it is better for your body, then you are loving yourself better, whether you get results or not ❤

      Try the Mira fertility tracker device! Used it after 3 years no luck and got pregnant the second cycle. I know that’s no guarantee but at least look into it because it allows you to get a really accurate sense of your ovulation date. And if no other luck, have D.H. get tested even if he did already as that can change.

    I had an iud for 5 years, to me 10 to conceive again. It most definitely affects being able to get pregnant. And the hymen is an indication of virginity. Although girls can stretch their using tampons which is why I don’t allow my daughters to use them.
    And pineapples 🍍, well I’m not sure but when I eat certain food I can smell the difference so I would assume it tastes different as well

      Hymen doesn’t indicate v*rginity because it was be broken/stretched when you fall go on a bike etc and some women still have theirs intact after doing “it” so no it isn’t a good indicator
      Ps: and if the whole hymen thing so the only reason your daughters aren’t allowed to have tampons then reconsider because there’s no point if their glittery pink bicycle has the same effect

    • @MarSmiles
      @MarSmiles 26 днів тому +10

      What difference does it make. With or without the hymen intact, if you're a virgin, you're a virgin regardless. If a female is old enough to have a period and have the ability to become pregnant, then if they want to use a tampon, that should be their choice. Having a mother push disgusting pads on their daughter because of some unfounded belief or the mother has a tampon phobia is NOT a good reason to not allow a girl to choose for herself. They didn't CHOOSE to get a period, but they got it anyway. All mothers should empower their daughters to be in charge of their own bodies.

      You can break your hymen from just doing sports like soccer, even something like biking and equestrian sports can break the hymen. You can even break it doing splits if you're in gymnastics. Its NOT an indication of virginity.
