I’ve collected 45s since the 1970s and only get records that I really enjoy listening to. I have never collected records for the money value. I used to always listen to Los Angeles radio stations such as KRLA and KRTH . And WWL in New Orleans.Collecting just for the monetary value is not fun to me!!!
Thanks for your comment. I do like flipping items for fun from yard sales but I am a collector at heart. That’s awesome you must have a great collection. I love the small independent 45 rpm labels and the great rare or little known music on them. I’ve been browsing 45s tonight…must be a coincidence that you commented thanks
Hi I sell them at buy it now with the chance for the buyer to send an offer. I usually like to make a quick flip so I’ll accept a good offer. I try to see what something is selling for and list it similar. I also cross list on offer up Mercari Poshmark and Facebook marketplace. Sometimes I’ll price it higher on a site other than eBay and get lucky to sell it for that
Your wrong re the Big Labels eg Capitol or RCA Issue! copies on Capitol of certain records are worth very big money Eg Corey Blake - How can I or Black issues of certain soul records on RCA are also worth a lot of money because they were pressed in limted numbers due to radio exposure feedback wasnt Great. The Jewel Akens is a decent finf but the version you want of Ive Arrived on Era is by Steve Flanagan and is worth $500
Nice finds! I love buying boxes of 45s. Never know what you'll find. One of my best 45s score was in March 2021. Here's my video. (Sold those two NS discs for $950 and $625) ua-cam.com/video/7yNSvC7c6pU/v-deo.html
@@jbbreaksfree9722 I thought you were more or less OK on the soul prices, though if you're selling to Northern Soul market which is mainly in the UK then bear in mind cost of postage [$10-15] plus 20% added VAT [tax]. Hence $20 for a demo of Impressions is a good fair price [for M-] but if you add extras it's up to $40 which is expensive IMO. I bought myself the Veep 45 few weeks back. $49.99 off USA eBay but I was the only bidder. The Sammy Jones is popular with Chicano scene I believe. For a guide to prices I suggest Popsike too,
Great finds but please tell us the name of the records not just the artists
Thank you, I will keep that in mind for next time !
Alston was affiliated with Henry Stone's TK label from Miami.
The small faces 45 is not a promo they are reißues of the original 😢
Thank you
You struck gold Jay!!! What a good find!
Thanks Dawn! It sure is a fun hobby! 8-10am Saturday mornings I’m in my happy place searching for them haha
Hope you had a great weekend!

Do you sell them as by it now or option? Auction? What price do you start at?

True haha!

I was referencing eBay and discogs for most but of course prices fluctuate. Still a good score though
