that cab is beautiful! the chromium door panel is very unique for a 3300. looks like they actually put an effort into this. it even levels quickly too. this is indeed VERY nice for a 3300
I visited this place yesterday during a field trip for my photography class. It is definitely a very nice place to visit, especially with the 60's and 80's architecture present in this building. It's nice to see neon in the food hall.
That is a pretty nice cab. Also interesting how they installed a 3300 XL, that's not normal for this size & only 2 floors. Probably because of the taller ceiling.
This is a 3300 XL? I thought this is a regular newer 3300. XL would’ve been a certain Schindler elevator with a whooshing door operator sound used on a 5500. A Schindler technician who I’m in contact with told me this is just a regular 3300.
@@EWPA14 Okay, I just texted a Schindler technician who works on these kinds of elevators, and he did tell me this is an XL. Planning to do a much more proper take at some point soon.
Nope, it’s an XL for many reasons, including the door operator, the cab height, the lack of that interior metal cab framing, and if it goes 200 FPM, then that too.
Alright. I had just already confirmed that this is indeed a Schindler 3300 XL. Recently texted a Schindler guy who works on these kinds of elevators and he told me.

Wow! This is a beautiful 3300 I'd say. Much better than having a standard cab.
I love this
I don't know if I'm very sure, but because of the lantern and the COP, this might be a Schindler 3300 XL.
The elevators has green lights inside
This is a nice video
Would’ve hoped this would be a 3100, but it doesn’t look that way.
Still that cab is pretty epic. Also, strange how they used the 5500 lantern.
I personally think this is better than a 3100/3300. This has the "5500" lantern because this is technically an XL.

This has the lantern XLs & 5500s use & has a taller ceiling. And 3500 lb. XLs don't have that door operator sound, they use a different door operator.

The Schindler near the main entrance near the security desk is currently broken
Where is that at?
@@JimLiElevators its the entrance near the parking lot next to 713 music hall. That entrance should lead to Z atrium (the one with the wooden stairs).
More accurately, that’s a 3300 XL.
Wait. Adam, I thought this is a regular 3300 according to a Schindler technician I text messaged?
