  • My brother-from-another-mother and I were supposed to go shooting today. that didn't pan out so we set up my Cabelas Alaknak tent, lit a fire and had some fresh venison and coffee. All in all a great day. Please look up Sargfaria, The Woodsman School and Guide service along with Jack Mountain Bushcraft for upcoming videos on winter hot tents and how they apply to extended outings in the winter months.

Cool vid hangin in the hot tent having a hunter's meal cant beat that. Indeed being Alone is a game changer, ive been miles into a First Nations Rez in BC living under a tarp for 7 weeks, interesting things happen.
    thanks for the vid.

+NativeSurvival That's a LONG time to live under a tarp, not many can say they have done that. Yeah the solo thing is a trip, I used to enjoy it for personal reasons but these days I would always prefer to have company.

Just going back on some of your videos. WCW, love that tent. I'm about to try something crazy. Buying a guide tent of some kind, try living in it. Start out short period of time. Ronnie. Texas.

right on buddy, great idea. I lived in this for 3 months, November, December and most of January. all you need is a good cot, table and chair. I might do it again this year.

This must be an older Alaknak tent the walls are not as tall as the current 12x12 the Cabela’s sells.
