Right from the start Crewe we're setting up to not lose the game. Unlike the Gills, they are miles ahead of the scrap going on for 7th, which theres a small chance 15th place Doncaster could get it. We created enough chances, but couldn't take them. Should of won the game. Going to Harrogate on monday, a win there would make this result look much better. We probably still won't get play offs... right?
I agree, we just need to more clinical in front of goal! Everywhere else we're really solid. Just not taking advantage of the countless opportunities we create
Genuinely started so well then it died off but at least we tried, unlike Crewe who were more than happy to sit back and time waste from minute 2….. They were one of the worse teams I’ve seen play at Priestfield this season but to their credit they defended well and stopped us from creating much at all. Ref AGAIN was horrific and would struggle to fit in at Sunday League level! We need to learn to score and fast because the teams at the top are running away at the moment and before we know it we will struggle to get play offs!
Not a single Gillingham player with any quality at all. Why don't we take on loan for the final 5 games Bradley Dack? Sunderland don't need him for the remainder of their season as they are stuck in mid-table. We could offset some of Dack's wages for Sunderland, 18k a week apparently, and they going to release him any way in the summer.
As a home fan, yesterday the only highlight for me was the introduction of Josh Andrews. He certainly looks the part of a traditional big burly centre forward and a real goal threat - something Gillingham are sorely missing now for some time. Give him some service and let's see what he can do. He can't be any worse than static beanpole Oli Hawkins.
Watching this crap yesterday I was reminded just how good the Tony Pulis Laegue One/Championship team were. I fear I will never see the likes of that team again in my life time.
Tony Pulis never managed us in the Championship (2nd level). But yeah, they were different times, achieved when the last chairman was still fresh in the job. Given time the new owner will get us up one league at least
@@ChrisInTheNorth I never said he did. I said his team, which is what it was. Taylor may have taken over and been in charge when we gained promotion to the Championship, but it was still the team Pulis built. The same is true of the Gills team in the Championship. It's only as that team faded that we dropped down the table and were finally relegated. The heart of that team was of course Hessenthaler, who was an outstanding player, but a poor substitute for Tony Pulis as a manager.

Because you can't take on new loans outside the transfer window.
@@ChrisInTheNorth No exceptions?
Never been to a match where 80% of the game was played in front of the main stand????
Love how 2 of the highlights were crosses that went straight to the keeper 😂
Both c/f have no pace.
