@@jaybratt I've never played gorilla tag but I can only imagine the screeching kids when you suddenly fling yourself 50 feet away in one thrust, hahaha!
I bought it mainly for Golf+, although all I play on VR these days is Walkabout Mini golf. Found the club attachment annoying for Walkabout teleporting
It's unconfirmed but all leaks look like they'll announce pre orders on the 27th at the Meta Connect keynote and then deliver the headsets on Oct 10th. More Details: ua-cam.com/video/KHiAiFAdJqk/v-deo.html
I guess you could remap the button now in quest settings and switch grip with trigger to teleport. But that’s pretty janky unless you only ever play walkabout mini golf.
Totally think a V2 is needed for an additional trigger on the grip for teleport! Alternatively, maybe mighty coconut will introduce multimodal gameplay (simultaneous hand tracking + controller tracking)…this could open the doors to not only some fun hand gesture social interactions but also provide extra convenience with the option to teleport for example with the pinch of your fingers.
I can’t stand teleport movement unless I’m forced to use it, and that goes for Walkabout as well. Is it a bit immersion breaking to need to pull the grip back so I can reach the joystick to move? Sure. But as soon as it’s time to putt again it’s such an incredibly immersive experience that more than makes up for it and is well worth the price of admission. I love this thing!
There is a magic to Walkabout that is hard to describe. It may not look real, but I've seen more people try to lean on a wall or a railing in that game and nearly fall over. Something about it is oddly immersive!
if there was a golf club handle like this which had the grip function but for the trigger (or even if WMG has an update which makes it so u can set grip to teleport instead of putt) then id buy it in a heartbeat
The new Quest 3 controllers doesn't seem to work well with these "Quest 2 designed" golf attachments. The Quest 3 controllers without the rings is harder to track when you have it at the end of a stick and pointing down and since WMG has your hand and controllers in different places, maybe the Quest 3 gets confused with tracking both the controllers and the person's hands? Anyway, I'm a bit disappointed. I wish I can use a Quest 2 controller with a golf attachment on the Quest 3.
Did you do quest 3 giveaway? I would remember that you did
It ends after the Quest 3 launches so it's still going: ua-cam.com/video/PXXX_YwFuEE/v-deo.html
Imagine using this in action games to aid in climbing and you friends seeing your arm stretch out three feet longer! 😂😂😂 Now I want it! Hahaha!
Get two for gorilla tag? Lol

Cooooolllll😮
If the trigger teleported you to your ball I would buy this.
Same, maybe they'll make a swappable option!
How do you get to the ball then?

48 on Etsy….with the trigger. Cheaper without.😉plain black or white.
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha THX FOR THIS MANNNNNNNN
Happy to help!
Hey JayBratt do you know if the quest 3 can be preordered and if so, when?

Love WMG! Somehow I still haven’t played the new Alfheim course.
We gotta play!
@@jaybratt, Deal, I’m ready to roll when you are!

That's an interesting idea though!

I can't wait to see how much the Quest 3 opens up in games. Maybe you shove a controller in your pocket in a game and that acts as a gun holster?

yo
Hey Jayden!
I agree with your conclusions! Thanks Jay!
Happy to hear that Blue!
That's too bad. Looked promising.
It's cool enough but it just doesn't serve my purpose for movement.
Hellooooo damn someone was a minute first how the hell
They too fast! Too furry est..
I’m too quick unlike last time
Noice!
Supposedly they're going to add an option for the trigger move you to the next hole.
The trigger moves you to your ball, but not the grip button. You mean they're gonna make the buttons swappable? Because that would be great!
@@jaybratt that's the extent of what was said, but swapping them would make sense.
@@mikemalley1909 We are aware and we are sure the team at Mighty Coconut is working on some potential solution!
