I once had a theory, before Raid on Onigashima: That Trafalgar Law´s Final Onigashima Opponent would be Hawkins. Because Law is the only one that can slice people without hurting them / He could have been the perfect counterpart for him. But Oda made Law stronger and we got that fight in Act 2 in Wano and half of it was Off-screen. All the Eneru Theories are missing. The Kuina is Tashigi theory is easily busted. Before Kuina was killed by Down D. Stairs, she said she wouldn't be able to fight Zoro anymore because her breasts were growing in. She wasn't even a teenager back then. But when we first met Tashigi, she was as flat as a board. Theory disproven.

Some of them were so stupid from the beginning that no one really belived in them. Some weren't even theories, like Momo being Kinemon son or Wano having 5 acts (Japanese Kabuki theatre plays almost always have 5 acts and with Oda using acts for the first time in the arc heavely inspired by Japan, it was natural to expect 5 acts, if this is concider "failed theory" then every confirmed theory is just a lucky guess xD).
Some of them was kinda confirmed, like Yamato was invited and wanted to join, but she couldn't at the time, but it doesn't mean she won't in the future (look at the cover of the last chapter, Kinemon talking to Yamato about "parting gift").
Also Tashigi still could be Kuina, this theory wasn't proven or disproven at all, it's in the same state as 1000 chapters ago xD
