Yes, you can study individual chapters, but it's recommended to watch the lectures in sequence as each video is linked to the other.
sir i have doubt in section -- 60;
if Mr. X took loan from bank and mortgage its debenture, bank will become beneficiary of that debenture. now if company gives interest will it be income for bank or income for Mr.X.
I guess Mr. X because mortgage means that the bank has took as an assurance against the money provided to Mr. X so in this case Mr. X haven't transferred the ownership of property(any thing took as mortgage) so as per me income through debentures will be taxable in the hands of Mr. X
Not sure because bank will show interest as it's income and will deduct expenses related to it. And it is not done in respect of tax planning.
Will sec - 60 be applied as you said, or section 60 is not be applicable because it is in nature of furtherance of business for bank. It will be shown in pgbp of bank.
