Please pray that I get to legally and successfully stick up for myself against my enemies with God by my side, because I’m so sick of “taking it” all the time. If I wasn’t so passive and way more considerate of other people’s feelings over mine, then I wouldn’t have so many bad memories and PTSD symptoms. Can I please ask all the believers to pray for me? I have prayed for as long as I can remember for God's forgiveness and I have yet to be able to say that I know that if I leave this world that I would be in heaven for eternity. I'm terrified of dying lost of my 6 children leaving this world lost. I'm worried that I had done an unforgivable sin. Please keep me and my kids and family in your prayers.

Wonderful message. Prayer has been challenging for me this week. Life's distractions, people texting/calling always when you try to make the time to pray. I had to go outside a lot and leave my phone and the distractions inside. Lol.
I too use to complicate prayer. I would make my own legalistic guidelines to follow and if I did not meet them my prayer time was ineffective. Craziness....absolute craziness.
It is so freeing to have figured out that was not a good prayer time for me.

This I've gotten two different points of view on. I was told by Megan Marshman that my mind wandering in prayer is okay because God wants to be with me in everything that's in my heart. So that if my mind is wandering to something, then that's what God wants to talk to ME about, not just what I picked out to talk to Him about (though He wants to talk to me about that too). Like if I'm praying and my mind wanders to how someone upset me, that's where He wants to meet me at. So it's okay to shift focus for a little bit. So, I'm confused now. I'm going to.pray for the answer from Him on this one. No disrespect intended. I come to Joyce's teaching online everyday and listen to her for hours. I started my journey with Megan and this is the only big difference in teaching I've come across so far. I'm drawn more to Joyce's teaching because of her age and the fact that she's been doing this for as long as she has. I'm saying that with 100% respect. I love you all.
