Indonesia is capable of producing its own trains and also for export. Fast Trains are almost complete, airport trains, raillink, sky train, commuter lines, long-distance executive and business trains, luxury trains and others.

Indonesia is quite late in developing metro rail system compared to other countries in the region. Jakarta as capital city relied heavily on BRT and Commuter Rail for so long. Only pretty recently does Jakarta start to build its metro rail system with MRT Jakarta and LRT Jakarta currently operational. In 2023, almost fully local Indonesia made system (from signaling technology, tracks, stations, rolling stocks, etc) in LRT Jabodebek will start operational. A 44 km system will connect Jakarta to nearby cities.

All this dick measuring in the comments, honestly as a Singaporean, yes currently our system is king in ASEAN but if any other ASEAN country comes up with a better system i would be glad to learn from them.We as a region has so much potential together to Rival the great powers like China or USA if we work together. All this clashing of egos between us is counter-productive it only serve to get us laugh at by the rest of the world. Personally i rather not be laughed at.
Exactly, I see no point in this nonsense discussion ~ we as a region need to look at the positives from eachother and other countries around the world and implement them to improve our own systems. Funny analogy though, it really does feel like dick measuring ~ only, we're measuring micropenises to a slightly longer micropenis and bragging about it.
@@Enes-sk-148 how do you define popularity? Bangkok MRT daily ridership: 470,000 in 2019 Singapore MRT daily ridership: 3.4 million in 2019 Just saying.
Fun Fact: The Philippine LRT 2 was designed to go up to 80 kmph and limit a capacity of half a million, sadly it operates as the 3rd most used line ever as of 2022 and due to lack of barriers the line itself can only go up to 40 - 50 kmph
Second fun fact: The MRT 3 remains the fastest of the Philippines reaching up to 70 kmph, and remains as the most used line in the country itself servimg bo more than 350,000 passengers daily even though the MRT 3 still uses old CKD Tatra LRVs from 1999
Sa pagitan daw ng Antipolo at Marikina-Pasig station minsan tumatakbo hanggang 80kph yung LRT 2. Sobra layo kasi tsaka bago yung platform 'di tulad sa original na walang harang sa kanan ahahaha katakot.
LOL Indonesia has it too! Wtf. The LRT in Palembang, LRT in Jakarta, and the LRT metropolitan Jakarta (Jabodebek) also have what you call "electrified underground cabling". Indonesia has it all.
But no one can beat the low price of Indonesian Commuter Line which fare is only USD 33 cents...even if you take 100 km travel from Bogor to Cikarang or Rangkasbitung. The MRT fare is only USD 1.33 for the longest trip from Hotel Indonesia to Lebak Bulus. Longest LRT route in Jakarta as well as the Bullet Train from Jakarta-Bandung will be launched around June 2023...with fare of Economy class USD 8.33 and USD 16.66 for Luxury class...
What the hack. As long as the service is available, reliable, on time, cheap, clean, safe, and good coverage of the entire city, that is good enough for the people.
Even though I’m Filipino, I would say that trains in different countries are also good like the trains in the Philippines, now we have 13000 class in LRT 1
At least, I can say that my country's mass transit system is the most expensive compared to every other country in Southeast Asia. It's more expensive than the MRT in Singapore.
Bangkok? Yeah it cost a fortune to ride too, it is okay to ride alone but if travelling together with a group of family I think it would be cheaper to grab a cab.
Would be cool if you added the transit map before or after each country, then it would be easy to visualise P.S. I think the BTS rolling stocks and the MRT Kajan line look the coolest imo, very modern and sleek looking.

I live in bangkok, we just open yellow line monorail, and will soft open pink line in september. But orange line East can't start service due to contract confliction, so sad.
It’s unfortunate that Philippine Metro systems looks unclean compared to its rival tho being one of the first to have such a system in the region. Tho wished the new expansion like the MRT 7, Manila Subway, and maybe that monorail can change things for accessibility, capacity, and coverage. Though wished there’s newer Rolling stock for LRT 2 but hopefully the other two lines can finally add the new trains.
The LRT 1 uses different trainsets from many different generations. The LRT 2 however uses the same trainsets, but these trains continously go through many different upgrades from time to time.
Interesting that it's called North South line since there's yet official name for this MRT line in Jakarta. Coincidentally, if this track combined with the upcoming phase 2 stations, it is indeed connecting from north to south parts of Jakarta, making the track name oddly appropriate. It does makes perfect sense if MRT Jakarta took inspirations from MRT Singapore, not just shares the final stop stations of the early phase 1 line takes both underground (Bundaran HI and Toa Payoh) and above (Lebak Bulus and Yio Chu Kang), even down to the strict rules of no eating and littering (there are no trashcans in the MRT Jakarta station unless you went into a toilet before the tapping zone). This proves once again that Singapore's MRT should be the standard of a well-developed train station.
Thai lady accidently fall down in Singapore mrt rail track many years ago back then it was no fence Singapore government refused to pay her said she intend to fall by herself she lost her legs in that incident !!!! Indonesia has various types of trains: MRT phase 1 has been completed and operates 16 km, phase 2 will be completed in 2027 with the total length of phases 1 and 2 being 27 km. The Long Jakarta LRT has been operating for 6.2 km, and phase 1B of the Rawamangun-Manggarai route will be built 6Km opening target in 2024 a total of 12Km Jabodebek LRT, operational length is 43 km serving the 3 Line route Dukuh Atas-Cawang 11Km Cawang-Bekasi 23 Km Cawang-Cibubur 19 Km A new line will be added in 2025 with a total length target of 135 km The Commuter Line has been operating since 1925 serving 5 Lines Jakarta-Bogor Jakarta-Depok Jakarta-Tangerang Jakarta-Bekasi Jakarta - Rangkasbitung the total length of the commuter line service is 418 Km and LRT in Indonesia is not only in the capital Jakarta but also in Palembang, unlike Malaysia which only exists in the capital Kuala Lumpur. So how do you claim that Malaysia is in the top 2, that's just a biased and overproud comment from you as a Malaysian. If you've never been to Indonesia, don't talk about Indonesia bro, let alone to compare Indonesia and Malaysia, it will only make you embarrassed.
After some shitty corruption behind Philippine Metro, we see some but painfully slow developments but this only means that soon Philippine rail services will be better, we already seem rapid construction of MRT-7, the finishing touches of the first phase of LRT-1 south extension, developing progress of PNR's main line (aka NSCR) and beginnings of other railway systems such as the manila subway system
If you compare the lines to our LRT and MRT lines in the Philippines you can see how behind we are in infrastructure :/ why are our LRT MRT admins content with 1990s tech when all our neighboring countries have 21st century tech in their stations and on their lines and current stock? We’re not blind. We travel to neighboring countries sometimes on vacations or for business and work contracts. We watch regional and international media all the time. And we can clearly see the ineptitude for proper maintenance and timely modernization is so rife here! We’re always playing catch up. Even the general level of infrastructure and cleanliness sucks. Look how ugly the buildings in Manila (Recto) are compared with those in neighboring countries capitals.
LRT-1 got its new makeover. However, MRT-3 came out after LRT-1 then followed by LRT-2. Tbh, the design of both MRT-3 and LRT-2 are still the same until now.

I still remember when Malaysia lrt line was open in 1997, 1 week free ride was full off ppl then half gone when they start charges on the following week ha ha.. But then slowly crowded from day to day. I still keep the free ride ticket untill now.
MRT 1 Malaysia Kajang Line (Siemens / BMW) 46 KM mula 2016 pernah menang Award Bentley MRT terbaik dunia. MRT 2 terbaru Putrajaya Line (SIemens / Hyundqi) mulai 2022 laluan 57.7 KM. Coming soon sebelum 2030 KVMRT (Laluan Rangkaian) 50.8 KM.
Singapore MRT is the best in Southeast Asia with almost 200 stations and more than 30 years in operation.
Thailand mrt is popular
Malaysia MRT best in the world
I have to agree, because a successful system will have passengers, many of those videos show no signs of life, hence an unsuccessful system
@@SShiJie these videos (especially those in Singapore) are obviously taken during off-peak periods.
@@Enes-sk-148 how do you define popularity?
Bangkok MRT daily ridership: 470,000 in 2019
Singapore MRT daily ridership: 3.4 million in 2019
Just saying.
Malaysia metro more modern and futuristic
Is it?
I noticed that the Kuala Lumpur and Singapore metros are electrified via underground cabling. Unlike the other nations.
Thailand is not?
Thailand metro is electrified too
LOL Indonesia has it too! Wtf. The LRT in Palembang, LRT in Jakarta, and the LRT metropolitan Jakarta (Jabodebek) also have what you call "electrified underground cabling". Indonesia has it all.
Pffft commemt tertolol gk riset dlu
No? The Singapore MRT North East Line uses overhead wires with it's rolling stock of Alstom Metropolis trains

SOUTHEST ASIAN RISE UP TOGETHER❤️
POWER OF ASEAN 🌏
I'm from Sri Lanka and I wish Colombo had at least one metro line.
Indon is cheap
Poor country
beautiful ASEAN!加油❤
Those 3 new railway systems in Indonesia were built by one president in less than 10 years
and soon the highspeed train will be completed
What the hack. As long as the service is available, reliable, on time, cheap, clean, safe, and good coverage of the entire city, that is good enough for the people.
Even though I’m Filipino, I would say that trains in different countries are also good like the trains in the Philippines, now we have 13000 class in LRT 1
Bangkok Metro fare is the most expensive in this region...
Manila looked like Jakarta in the '90s, its Slum and its trains are noisy like Jakarta's trains early 2000s
Jakarta has still slums as same as Bangkok and Hanoi. Only Singapore and ko doesn't have slums
At least, I can say that my country's mass transit system is the most expensive compared to every other country in Southeast Asia. It's more expensive than the MRT in Singapore.
คนไทยแน่ๆ 555+
Bangkok? Yeah it cost a fortune to ride too, it is okay to ride alone but if travelling together with a group of family I think it would be cheaper to grab a cab.
Really banking on what's in store for Manila these next few years
mrt line 7, NSCR airport railway, LRT-1 extension
@@sheevpalpatine7588 also the subway
I hope these new railways in the Philippines will be finished very soon. Commuters badly need them
Congrats Asean 😊😉👍❤️🎉🎊
1:46 MRT Malaysia Kajang Line is so modern and futuristic 🤩
Would be cool if you added the transit map before or after each country, then it would be easy to visualise
P.S. I think the BTS rolling stocks and the MRT Kajan line look the coolest imo, very modern and sleek looking.
List of trains in KL:
1. LRT Ampang/Sri petaling line
2.LRT Kelana Jaya line
3.KL Monorail Line
4.MRT Kajang Line
5.MRT Putrajaya Line
6.BRT Sunway Line
7.KTM Komuter Trains
8.ERL KLIA Ekspres/Transit
9.LRT Shah Alam line (under construction)
The Philippines Metro system still remains as a disgrace compared to ASEAN. Still remains as a third world hellhole and hopeless cesspool of humanity.
No just the cement

And my mom & I used to ride the Manila LRT.
idk but i feel mrt in KL look handsome and cool
There will be new trains from singapore
cross island line
jurong region line COMING SOON
This proves once again that Singapore's MRT should be the standard of a well-developed train station.
amazing trains in southeast asia 👏👏👏
Thai lady accidently fall down in Singapore mrt rail track many years ago back then it was no fence Singapore government refused to pay her said she intend to fall by herself she lost her legs in that incident !!!! And now Singapore build fence in all the station WHY? Isnt the old one without fence was good already?
Philippines is so behind its southeast asian neighbours
I also live in Puchong at 5:53
I’m Indonesian. I thimk Singapore’s MRT is the best and the most matured in ASEAN. Almost on par with Tokyo
SG udah punya MRT sejak tahun 80an, kita telaatt bgt... 😑
@@harukrentz435 iya at least udah mulai lah ya 😂 even dibanding Malaysia pun, kita masih kalah kl terkait MRT 😞 tapi yakin kok akan catch up real soon. Pengennya one day kayak Tokyo gt, emak2 pake Hermes pun tetep naek MRT 😍😍😍

Di sg susah banget buat punya dan pake kendaraan pribadi makanya orang sana mau gak mau naik tranportasi umum makanya perkembangan cepet banget
Hoo expensive
Indonesia railstock maybe not the best but one of them is locally produced.
THAT IS THAT DETERMINED TECHNOLOGY ACHIEVER, NOT JUST IMPORTERS
Great public transportation system. No ridership. They should promote this more and lessen the use of cars. ASEAN keep on rising
vro, LRT in Philippines sucks.. You can't even bare to breathe during morning and evening due to overcrowded passengers. Don't try riding a train on PH trust me I've experienced this during our visit in the country
Always support my country Indonesia ❤️
This is cool, but you missed out a lot of lines in Bangkok. In addition to what you have included in your nice vdo, there are Airport line ( suvarnnabhumi airport) red line to Donmuang airport and light red line, mrt subway, Most of the lines have two to three extented lines, which are long long lines. Soon the monorail yellow line, and pink line.
Their criteria is metros only, so commuters are not counted (but they seem similar). The MRT is already in the video and thumbnail. See other video for all lines ua-cam.com/video/kiIFc7t3reg/v-deo.html

Indonesia has various types of trains:
MRT phase 1 has been completed and operates 16 km, phase 2 will be completed in 2027 with the total length of phases 1 and 2 being 27 km.
The Long Jakarta LRT has been operating for 6.2 km, and phase 1B of the Rawamangun-Manggarai route will be built
6Km opening target in 2024 a total of 12Km
Jabodebek LRT, operational length is 43 km serving the 3 Line route
Dukuh Atas-Cawang 11Km
Cawang-Bekasi 23 Km
Cawang-Cibubur 19 Km
A new line will be added in 2025 with a total length target of 135 km
The Commuter Line has been operating since 1925 serving 5 Lines
Jakarta-Bogor
Jakarta-Depok
Jakarta-Tangerang
Jakarta-Bekasi
Jakarta - Rangkasbitung
the total length of the commuter line service is 418 Km
and LRT in Indonesia is not only in the capital Jakarta but also in Palembang, unlike Malaysia which only exists in the capital Kuala Lumpur.
So how do you claim that Malaysia is in the top 2, that's just a biased and overproud comment from you as a Malaysian. If you've never been to Indonesia, don't talk about Indonesia bro, let alone to compare Indonesia and Malaysia, it will only make you embarrassed.
Need to include KL’s Komuter and ERL.
13:47 Manila, Philippines
Very good
