This game was absolutely incredible It was an early SNES title when us kids were just getting blown away by the new graphics and audio - if you were born in 82 like me all you knew was the NES or Atari and you didn’t know or assume there could ever be anything better
75 here. The first time I've seen Super Famicom live (not Super Nintendo) was on late 90, just after its launch. The first game was this one... the owner of the shop was playing with this angel on the cloud, all text in japanese the he confirmed something and there was that "jump into the ground sequence" (with that amazing Mode 7). I will never forget that moment in my entire life.

Even when I first beat this when I was 9, no one being in the temple hit me right in the feels.
