Great review. I own one and every time I get on her I think to myself “How is HD still in business?” I’ve owed over 30 bikes and this is miles ahead of anything I’ve ridden.
My Harley mechanic said, notice I ride a BMW and work on Harley Davidson. He says BMW is 100 years ahead of Harley and 50 years ahead of Honda so I'm looking to buy a 1600B
It didn't feel like riding a jetski at highway speeds? Then get knocked around in dirty air? I had a '22 for 4 months and went back to Harley Davidson. It had an oil leak and consumed oil as well!
I would love to see you compare with th GW. Also, doesn't the BMW have a "speed shifter" or "quick shift"? And I read the GL or gra d America is governed. Is any of this true? And great ride review. Real
The GA is governed at max out at 107mph due to severe instability at upper speeds. There is an issue with aerodynamics ONLY on the GA. You can kinda see it just before the 10:00 mark
If you buy one of these, make sure you have a dealer close by, you will need, trust me. Also, make sure you have few dollars in your checking account, you will need that too. The K is a very finiky bike. Moreover, in higher speeds, you will feel the “dirty air” between trucks pretty hurshly. Ride in the back of a tralier and you will really feel it. I got disappointed and sold it. No more K for me.
I had a '16 HD Street Glide and traded in for a '22 BMW GA, I put 4,000 miles on it and traded back for a '23 HD Ultra. My BMW leaked oil, burned oil, and handled horrible in dirty air on the highway. I hope you have better luck, but I'll never buy another BMW.
@@BigSkyImagery yes I decided to keep the Harley. May be a little slower and what not but have full custom the way you want and cam build engine later but stage 2 on my bike is plenty

Bro I'm going to add her to my stable next year. My Road Glide needs a Sister. I felt the same excitement you expressed on this video lol.

@@CodyMcDonald89 I agree, it's also so much easier to do your own maintenance on the HD. Plus dealer network and camaraderie..
No need to pull in that clutch lever with Pro-shift.
it's basically a sport touring machine. Not that it's a bad thing. LOL
My GTL is s MAN. He's a "He"
