Spent many a years back in 1960's into 1980's working in tobacco.patches wirh my mom's fathers jones family in jonesborough, tn area. I remember having to gather very early in the morning to pull tobacco plants from the tobacco plant beds. Then later in the day we would use grandpa's old Ford 8N tractor and a two seater planter to set the tobacco plants in the ground. Hard work but I have many fond memories of my mom's family working in grandpa Lester Jones and his cousin Johnny Droaks tobacco patches.
I've been bin watching your videos John, trying to get caught up. I think what your doing is great. I'm sure Ralph appreciates you company. It's so good to see him out and about. Your a good person John and one day you'll be rewarded for everything your doing. God Bless you sir. Love these stories you bring us.
That beautiful basket hanging on the smoke house❤ Would love to see his junk in that storage building. Ralph you were a handsome dude. Still are. One of my jobs after school was over for the day was shelling corn in the corn bin. Hated the rats that scooted around in it. Great video.

Old tobacco basket hanging on the side of the smoke house I remember them be used by some of the old people when they hand tie tobacco the put in them basket too take to the markit thanks for sharing ❤️

If you like Apalachicola hystory, you need to come to New Hampshire. We are full of hystory! One place to visit is Clark's bears. They have lots of new hampshire and Maine history. They even have a steam train ride!!

That Ford tractor is a late 80’s I believe. My dad bought one just like it in 1986. Dang good tractors
