  • Only one of the babies remains, but it's made it to 42 days post hatch and looks healthy. It's growing, gaining some pigmentation in the fins, and it's showing the first real sense of adult coloration on the forehead, especially in the lower brightness video.

    Amazing but shows how under priced the captive bred mandarins are. Have you tried tdo yet?

      I have some, and will try at some point, but they're still small enough that only the smaller sizes could work (maybe B1, probably A), and the quantity needed to get them to reasonably likely eat some would probably foul the water. Since I've got an abundance of copepods available for the time being, there isn't big pressure to wean them onto something else, and the adults seem to prefer frozen to any kind of pellet.
