Why this guy is not a superstar of the jazz world is completely beyond me. Joe Pass, Allan Holdsworth, Wes Montgomery etc. etc. they have NOTHING on this guy. If he isn't a superstar now, he surely will be, IF there is a god.

The first time I saw Pinheiro playing guitar it was a bossa nova tune, I like when he goes more for the Latin stuff, I'm a huge Jobim fan.
