Was just in Japan too. Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara and Osaka. By far the best quality of life experiences has got to be the toilets. 80% of toilets anywhere you go got heated seats (aside from every toilet having the a$$ cleaning technology lol). The subway station toilets are actually better than the Disney Japan ones. Also the Sushi (specifically Tuna) is out of this world! I went to a conveyer belt sushi chain in Tokyo and Osaka, and the Sushi gets served to your table instantly (within 10-30 seconds from ordering it). The Tuna is to die for. The best quality Tuna for only $1.50, and back in North America that would cost me $10. People there are so polite and have the best manners too. Everyone is so organized when walking in public, for example everyone moves to one side of all escalators to let others in a hurry go by. Back home it's a free for all. If your reading this and you plan on going, spend most of your time in Tokyo, then the a little bit in Kyoto, one day in Nara, and Osaka is up to you. The prices in Osaka are so low, but the city is a bit trashy and people aren't as friendly as they are in Tokyo... despite everyone being friendlier than anyone from any other nation lol. Very cool country. Makes you wanna move there. Oh, and lastly... if you plan on playing Pachinko (gambling), if your given snacks etc. instead of cash at the cashout counter, DO NOT EAT THEM. They are meant to be brought over to a counter next door where you cash them in for money (legal reasons I guess). I found that out after eating the snacks lmao. Superb ASMR btw.
