only change i'd make to the lighting layout is a pair of underframe flood lights at the front corners connected to the reverse light circuit aimed somewhere between 30-45 degrees outward from centerline to light alongside the trailer for backing this will help with identifying anything hidden in the dark alongside the trailer.
When you attached the wire to the light was it a single or double wire? If single did you ground the negative wire from the light to the trailer? Does it work that way or if it was a double wire did you attach it to the negative on the 7 pin adaptor to the negative?
On this trailer I hooked a hot wire and another wire for the ground. I used 2 wires. On my other 2 trailers I did a negative ground with 1 wire to the lights. You can do it either way, on this trailer being in the aluminum tubes I decided to use 2 wires. Hope this helps and I did not confuse you. Lol
@@chrisloshaw6808 I would not change anything. You can mount the lights further apart for more edge lighting, But mine are great where they are. I do like the flush mount lights mounted into the frame rails like on this trailer. I have other videos where I mounted lights under And from time to time they get bumped and moved. I am glad I did it this way on this trailer.
I never thought of using a relay. So far I have used them with new Ford And Ram HDs with no issues, But every vehicle is diffrent. I will look into that. Thanks.
Thats funny you say that. I was just looking at it a few weeks ago and thought the same thing. I mostly use it for my winter vehicle. It does great in the snow. I am going to put a hitch on it soon. I am sceptical towing with it like it is.

Nice job. You definitely pay attention to detail. Your shop is beautiful.
Thank you.

Nice Job. I have the same trailer. Now that you've had them installed a few years is there anything you would have done different?

Like them lights too. Any plans on doing more Pressure Washer vids?
I have had the pressure washer out , But have not done any videos on it. I may have to make a few videos on it yet this summer.
So what engages the reverse lights?🤔
The center pin on a 7 pin trailer plug is the backup light. You just wire it into the plug and when you put your truck in reverse they cone on.
What if you don’t have that connector on your vehicle?!?!? My vehicle only has a 4 plug connector on it?!?!?
You should use a relay because there is too much current draw for a newer truck

Could've used riv nuts maybe?
time for a new hitch my guy.
that old one is crusty.
