I have something similar that happens for me. I've noticed for years now that when I'm feeling down or stressed the song Keep Your Head Up by Andy Grammer seems to suddenly start playing. This will happen when I'm at a store or in my car or wherever music is playing that I have no control over. The thing that makes this crazy to me is I NEVER hear that song come on when I'm already in a good or neutral mood.
Yea i still listen to metal a lot but it definitely does make you feel more drained/negative. Calmer music has 432 hz frequency which makes you feel more relaxed, vs metal since its heavy bass and loud it plays at 440 hz frequency and gives you more anxiety.

Yeah very strange how that is, I’m like I can’t be the only one who notices that 😂 and for it to be so common is what makes it crazier
