To me this says more about Sly and the Family Stone than anything these kids did or didn't do here. They had already done covers of "I Wanna Take You Higher" and "Stand!" and were trying to capture that elusive magic that Sly could produce with a group of different people that could become One in a song.

Are you sure about this version been recorded in 1973? along the original version this song was recorded in 1970 for Thrid Album Recording Sessions.

Possibly the worst recording of a song in the history of music...man they butchered a great song. Simply awful.
