It’s just too hard to pick a favorite. They each have their unique characteristics. Thanks for the incredible tips with the clay, the paint inlay and sealing. I learned a great deal from you here. ❤❤❤
They are all so beautiful and creative that it’s hard to choose but since I am about to use my first inlay I’ll have to say that was the favorite to me. Thanks for sharing the process😊
Love these sap buckets Michele. I’m watching the video for a 2nd time now taking some notes- thanks for all the tips - these are all so beautiful but I think my favorite is the one with the pumpkin moulds. The copper n verdi gris glazes are so beautiful! Thank you! 🥰
Michele... Have you personally tried to use an inlay a second time after embedding it into a top coat with your first use?! I ask because I initially thought that I wouldn't be able to reuse my inlay pieces that I embedded into a top coat so I threw those pieces out. Well then I came across a video where Sammie from Unicorn Dust Designs actually reused her inlay that was embedded into top coat the first time & she had good results for it being a second use. I was puzzled because my thoughts were that a top coat is a sealer & you cannot reactivate a sealer so therefore the paint on the inlay would technically be sealed in 🤷🏼♀️ Well you bet that I had to give it a go. I used it the first time embedding it into DIY Liquid Patina which is a top coat then I let it dry & then tried applying it into paint the next go round & I'd be darned, the inlay still transferred over into my paint. I of course do not know how it was possible but it happened, lol. I then went at it again with first embedding it into a top coat (DIY Big Top this time) & then the second time, back into a top coat again (DIY Big Top) & to my surprise it worked again. Still confused as to why & how, lol 😆
@@ambermoy8147 Hi Amber! I’m discovering that it definitely depends on the top coat. For example, using Wise Owl’s One Hour Enamel Clear Coat definitely seals in the inlay so single use with that. With Wise Owl Varnish, I can usually get one additional (although faint) transfer of paint. So happy you found top coat options you like!
So beautiful, yes color is great
I’m glad you like the color, too, Sandy. Thank you, so much 😊
your work is fabulous--I love all 3 buckets
