Right, so nobody's explained it so I will. The animation, well, more like the look of the show indeed has changed, especially in the character design and compositing. The previous director (Sunghoo Park) of S1 and Movie 0, due to personal and professional reasons has left the project. In his place another talented director (Shota Goshozono, called Gosso by animation fans) has taken over. Due to a much shorter production schedule the decision was taken to simplify the character designs so that the animators would have greater level freedom in animating more fluid animation. Also, you will start seeing more fish-eye lense effect and more creative shot direction, that's kind of Gosso's signature. Funfact: That scene where Utahime ran out the room after seeing the mice was all animated by Kouki Fujimoto. It's so well done that a lot of fans accused it of being rotoscoped. Fujimoto is responsible for the look of Cursed Energy and Black Flash too.
im so glad yall got the geto scene where he made the old mans life flash before his eyes because thats such an extra way to do that comedic scene hahaha, also i didnt saw you guys mentioning but basically in this backstory geto and gojos morals are sort of inverted, for gojo right now, taking care of the weak feels like a burden and he just wants to become the strongest one because thats what hes always meant to be, and geto is the one whos like nah we have to protect the humans thats our reason to be, so its gonna be SO GOOD seeing you guys realize the motives that made geto and gojo flip their own ideals, hidden inventory is probably my favorite arc because it basically is the backstory to the entire jjk story were seeing rn, like if not for the events that passed in this 5 episode arc there would be no story at all, this was a great watch as always!

Months later and this arc still makes me cry. These two had such a good friendship and it all went to shit as we know from the movie. 🥺 Also if you'll notice that Geto and Gojo had the opposite stance on who is more important to protect back then. Geto sounds like Gojo now about the strong protecting the weak. Such a 180 from the future. 😵💫 I love how the two Jojo watchers picked up on Toji's seiyuu immediately. Koyasu Takahito-san will forever be the iconic voice of Dio! 😈 Incidentally, Geto's seiyuu, Sakurai Takahiro-san, is my number one seiyuu! He's done so many iconic voices including Cloud from the Final Fantasy game series! 🥰 You should also breakdown the lyrics in the first OP cause it gives so much insight into Gojo and Geto's relationship. 😉
Show doesn't explain bad, people just focus on the wrong things watching it, I mean when "geto" was explaining the plan in ep 21 they were all making jokes about the beach stuff. It's only natural they'll be confused
Six Eyes has the secondary ability to effectively reduce any cursed technique's energy output to near-zero. Infinity takes a shit ton of energy, but six eyes basically reduces that to 0.000001% of the typical output, and giving Gojo massive cursed energy reserves means he can basically do god-like things 24/7 and not have to worry about cursed energy depletion.
Just for clarification, at this point in time Gojo does get tired after using his powers. Seems pretty obvious but in the discussion after episode 2 I feel like you guys just assumed kid Gojo already had God mode 😂
Asshole Gojo is such a funny character, and I actually love Toji so much. Also day 101 of recommending the opening and ending of "Spare Me Great Lord". It's a chinese anime, so slightly different to the stuff you've reacted to so far, but it's got some of the vibest music and animation I've ever seen.
special grades are anomalies that can single handedly overthrow a country. in jjk 0 first and second grades were sent to deal with yuta but were severely injured or killed (i don’t remember exactly) which is why they sought out gojo for help. we lose perspective with gojo but second and first grades are still considered the highest ranking for sorcerers excluding special grade. it’s never made clear but at least gojo would be considered special grade here due to his unusual abilities (technique and all). thanks for the reaction!
Jujutsu High is a 4 Years Coure but last year is free for student and we've not seen any 4th year student nor Gege will show any. There are many in universe and out explanation for that. But back when Gojo was student it was 5 years. At this time in story i.e. 2006 only One Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer exist Yuki Tsukumo, Todo's teacher we saw in his flashback riding motorcycle. We're not given their ranks but I'm 120% sure they're Grade 1.
