Xianyun really feels like those units that are made for old players to experiment new stuff and man, as a 1.0 player, seeing my HYDRO Diluc with Candace doing 109k vapes is the funniest thing ever, playing Hu tao without Zhongli and at full hp also feels weird but very cool to see and my god, even cryo Eula is something now lmao and for overworld, she is one of the bests; speed or height, you decide and thats so cool man.
Absolutely agreed. She breathes new life into all the characters that relied on attack cancels to get bigger damage and it's so refreshing. I think mihoyo puts a lot more thought into characters than people give them credit for because they've been really good at making new characters that are very functional with the ones from the very beginning of the game.
0:25 Stop talking. It's AMAZING that Faruzan is running on a banner THAT ISN'T WANDERER! Because now people don't need to pull him or his constalations if they don't want to. They can instead further buff their Xiao. Also, getting Faruzan to C6 isn't a bad thing because that will unlock a lot of Wanderer's or Xiao's potential when you do get them. And she also has grouping attached to her burst at C6 and grouping and especially grouping over time is GREAT to have.
My favorite thing about this banner is already having c6 Noelle (c3 Faruzan, no Gaming yet) and then the three 4 stars I pull are Noelle, Noelle, and Noelle Feels GREAT

Yeah it's unfortunate, both Wanderer REALLY likes faruzan's c6, so unless you've been specifically saving for them it's pretty unlikely a new player will be able to reliably get all of faruzan's cons in only 1 banner. Kind of a sad reality that happens when characters are so reliant on their c6

You know, I was thinking yesterday that they should put more characters on Paimon's bargains. I wonder if it would help if they put Faruzan and Kujo Sara on Paimon's bargains. That way, it would be slightly easier (given enough time) to get the C6 that makes them useful. But yeah, I'm really glad they aren't on the beginner banner, that would suck.
The moment when Noelle helped me to complete all Abyss for all stars for 3 years already and never had a problem to casually clean up the whole Abyss from the first try, but yes, C6 is critical for her, but Noelle is the character which was good for me to clean the Abyss and collect all Primos there casually without retries or having some hard times to do that, but still do not get why Minmaxers do not love her that much, she is very easy, she is literally unkillable in Abyss 12 and she just casually kills everything if it's is not going to fly or underground and her attack range makes easy to begin damaging enemies without running around, just kill one, turn and kill another if he was behind you, if all enemies are in front of her, they just all die, if enemy is a boss, then things are even easier... And after Furina release she became even stronger. Furina, Xiangling, Yun Jin, Noelle (before Furina was using Xingqui in this team and Kokomi in Nahida's team and never experienced a single problem to complete Abyss 12 9*) - Nahida, Xingqui, Kuki, Keqing or Fischl.
Noelle is the hyper super cleaner upper when you need a character on your team that won't die. Not everyone has Zhongli, but everyone does have the Wondermaid.
@@Lennis01 Yea, dunno, maybe I'm that good player on her, cos all minmaxers who I see are almost hating her and saying that she is not good at all, but she always was my "Secret Weapon" when I stuck on any stage of Abyss, especially on 12th floor, she simply annihilates everything there. Also Zhongli is different of team, Noelle is not as much of a shielder, but more a Universal unit, she is not maybe best in each role separately, but she is good at doing roles she is doing all together and quite well. Also she is one of the best characters for beginners, you simply can give her all trash Defence artifacts and she will work perfectly, in middle game she have problems, but in late game and if players spends time to build her the she shows insane effectiveness and after Furina release she became even stronger. Also her good part is that you can swap her and her Burst still stays active, unlike same Itto, when you can simply waste the whole Burst only cos you need to heal, shield of baff from another character... Itto is good, but for me Noelle is much more comfortable and also I do not care about healer and shielder in my team anymore, so 2 slots are empty to put anyone there....
Noelle its a VERY beginner friendly unit. She is the only source of shield (except if you randomly obtains Diona, Layla, etc) and healing (with Barbara) in the early game, with the benefit that you have to hit enemies = dps. Of course, she falls off in the mid-late game when you obtains more specialized units and her true form is locked on Constellation 6. In the late late game, when you have good offield dps (Furina, Yelan, etc etc) or good buffers and you have C6 she rises again. IMHO the only bad beginner unit is Faruzan, since her role is too niche, her ER requirements are atrocious, the lack of Favonius/Sacrificial and real potention locked at constellation 6.

She's burst dependent and only has good teams once your account is ALREADY strong with the likes of c6 gorou yelan furina jean etc. Im glad it worked out for you but spamming skills with almost anyone else low AR will do more damage lol. Noelle's sheild has a comically long cooldown for total newbies and barbuh is all the healing you need plus she can proc HB. Watching mtashed just kinda wreck low AR mobs with even copium starter HB was rather enlightening tbh. If noelle had a more damaging skill and didnt have to compete with barbruh for a free healer slot, I'd say she's better. But lets be honest at super low AR she isnt doing much damage and wont be getting her burst often. There's better ways to go.
@@wilburforce8046 Sure, she's not super optimal, but for someone just starting the game and still trying to figure out how all the moving pieces work (There are SO MANY things you have to remember to level up, and the whole team rotation mechanic is very different from any game I've played before), she just kinda works without necessarily having to build her just right. Yeah you're not gonna be burning enemies down, but you also feel safe with her shield and all-team healing. I didn't actually realize she could be a legit DPS until months into playing, and by that time I had collected enough other characters to put together an actually synergistic team.

At C6 she provides 30% anemo shred, 38.25% anemo damage bonus, flat damage for 32% of her base ATK, 40% crit damage, plus a ton of energy, plus grouping. If we look at C6 4* / C0 5*, no other character comes close to this level of buffs in their niche!
This was quite a nice banner for me tbh... Since I got Furina I started building my Noelle but she wasn't c6 yet. Luckily in 40 pulls I got 2 Noelle copies (now she's c5, might buy her from the shop idk), c2 Gaming (he looked fun to play so yay), Xianyun and Keqing right AFTER so I got the banner 5*, a c2 5* I actually use and no 50/50 for the next character banner. Feeling so lucky I used the remaining 30 wishes (still have around 80 in primogems) on the weapon banner and got the fan... I might've used up all this year's luck in a single day... 😅
As a toxic hu tao main who would rather let her die than healing her, using xianyun with her hurts but i didnt expect it to be so fun that i forgor she gets healed, still wouldnt heal her with other units
I feel Faruzan is fun for overworld, aoe ranged attaks are good for hunting birds and at c1 she can permastagger hilichurls. Note that my opinion is objective and not at all biased by her VA being Hocchan.
C0 Faruzan is great for a new account if you don't have Sucrose or Kazuha. Her A1 fixes the clunkiness of her skill (while similar to Sara's, it doesn't have that extra step that makes Sara extra clunky to use), and without Wanderer/Xiao/Heizou you don't even care about her burst (it's only relevant to other parties if it's C6), so her ER is irrelevant. Her skill + Hurricane-arrow spam is all you use C0 Faruzan for, and use her burst if it's available just to use it. C0 Faruzan's burst isn't terribly useful unless you're running an anemo carry since it's application isn't that great and it can't trigger VV while she's off-field, so it's really only buffing her personal damage in most parties. However she does a ton of damage with Pressurized Collapse and is the only character that actually has Kazuha levels of grouping, since similar to Kazuha, her pressurized collapse causes massive poise damage and Kazuha levels of suction, allowing her to pull enemies that normally wouldn't be pulled and really yank smaller stuff, and can literally spam it due to the short cooldown on her skill (C1 honestly is overkill as her skill usually comes back before you fire the 2nd shot, so you basically ahve to double-tap with it to get any use out of it, which is good since her first one reduces enemy Anemo resistance so the 2nd one hits harder). I got her off standard on an alt account and don't have Sucrose or Kazuha, and she's been my main VV/anemo as none of the characters I have can really do the same job for grouping or don't even approach the levels of damage she can do with basically no investment.

Just hold left click, no fancy cancels, but you need to get a feel for when it is ok to shoot (its a bit faster than visual indicator) Not aimed shots, just shooting ground or point-blank range, my snap aim is not great, if i have to think where to aim then it can easily take 6 seconds, yes. UPD Sorry you was talking about her use in proper team as vv cc support, completely misread you.
Me before the banner was out: omg finally a banner with two whole 4* I actually want constellations of! Me after getting Xianyun and Jean and only ONE Faruzan so far: I never want to see Noelle in my life EVER I'm still Gaming-less for the record. I'm still going for Nahida C2 so I still have more chances to pull Faruzan and/or Gaming but holy crap, getting 5 Noelles back to back with only 4* weapons in between did such an emotional damage to my soul that i don't think I'll be able to recover

My faruzan was c4 and was hoping to get her c6. After literally 110 pulls I got only 1 faruzan and now I’m near soft pity so can’t risk getting a 5* cause I already got both Xianyun and Nahida. Really mad how getting the 4* can be this rough.
i just realized that weapon banner is almost made for sucrose x) the only char that can use xianyun's signature (specifically in xiao team) except for xianyun herself, can use nahida's signature, sac is basically her 4* signature
Me who thought this was a great spot to collect constellations on all three 4-stars, but lucked into early Xianyun + Ga-Ming in 15 pulls, sooo... that's that, I guess.
Despite having both Xianyun and Nahida, I choose Xianyun's C1 over their weaps because it's a HUGE overworld powercreep. For real, I never had so much fun exploring and hopping around even with other good OW units like Kazuha, Wanderer and Yelan. Definately worth it if you value that over meta
Nahida was my first 5 star I'm pretty sure (I started right before her 1st run), and even though I couldn't ascend either of them past 40 at the time, she and Yae Miko basically carried me through the first 2/3 of the story.
Yep, exactly what happened to me too as I started during 3.2, and I gotta say that farming Nahida was much easier than Yae Miko (I love Enkanomiya now, but I sure didn't love it back then when I had to bruteforce my way through it as well as the entirety of Inazuma just to get to that freaking boss lmao), so yeah Nahida is pretty beginner-friendly
As someone who wasn’t fully conscious when they started playing, I loved Noelle since she was my only consistent healer like I looked forward to her on field healing my whole party
2:13 pretty ironic considering I got C8 Gaming and only 1 Faruzhan con and 1 Noel con pulling on this banner, but only wanted C6 Faruzhan because I am the cringe and wanted to play Xianyun carry in overworld
Bro, Gaming is one of if not the strongest 4 star DPS units they’ve ever released. He will be massively useful to new players. I guess the only downside is how easy his mats are to get, and artifacts. Being new and needing to farm marecheusee Hunter set can be awkward. It’s nice he uses liyue mats tho. And Noelle is a solid support/healer.

I absolutely to this day despise what they've done with Faruzan. Completely USELESS unit before C6. Goddamn... Fortunately with Xianyun if you have Furina as well you can more or less sidestep her in Xiao teams now, but goddamn.........
Noelle is actually good for low AR's, where you don't need her c6 for dmg cuz it's early game....Her cons are useful for them even if you don't get to c6 and her mats are easy to get. Plus new players can go for Nahida...Gaming's mats are easy to get but his boss drops wont be for lower AR's
I am not sure suggesting "new player" waiting for next time Nahida banner to comes around is a useful advice. Six or eight months later, such "new player" probably wouldn't be "new player" anymore.
I managed to get nahida, big upgrade for me ^^ Didnt get retainer or c6 any 4* tho... I do now have r5 sac bow tho, yey? Used it on tignari till i got ibis piercer, now dont know what to do with it. Fishl on r4 stringless and yelan on r2 fav, dont really use any other bow character (even fishl got benched when i finaly got raiden)
thx to this banner i've managed to get up to c6 faruzan for xiao, and he definitely feel much better to use alongside c0 Xianyun. Is it worth it to keep going for C1 xianyun in this banner or wait for rerun? I do plan to get her c2 eventually but only through rerun(s), but her E is insane for chenyu vale and made wanderer E feels like caveman's tool for exploration.
I need to dispel some Faruzan slander. She's not just "pretty good" at C6. I can attest to you that her ult and skill hit so hard that you can literally use her as a hypercarry. That's how strong she is and how much damage she does on her own. Her skill has a nigh insignificant cooldown that allows for a swap and use, and then back to her again meaning you can spam her ult basically. I'm not kidding you when I had a team of Faruzan, Furina, Zhongli and Bennett for this abyss and it absolutely obliterated that side of the abyss. Her buffs are stupidly good. Not just "alright". She allows Heizou, Lynette, Xiao, and Wanderer to feel like nukes. Obviously, you can pair her with Xianyun to make Xianyun a dps. So no, she's not just "alright" at C6, she's literally a 5 star character easily at C6. Her damage on her CAs, skills, and burst are no joke WHILE being a "support/subdps" for other units.
I think 'pretty good' (in reference to Faruzan C6) is an awfully conservative view how on JUST how much she can change the strength of Xiao / Wanderer teams (relative to other units).
I managed to get Xianyun on 58 pulls, along with 4 Faruzan constellations. Im saving to go completely crazy monkey mode on Neuvlllete banner, but i dont want to skip on the chance to get C6 Faruzan now. Only need 1 more constellation. Guess its worth throwing an extra 20 wishes her way. Im thinking ill still get 400 wishes when Neuvillete banner comes along (currently at 268).
As a AR 26 player, i shouldn't have pulled on the banner, because it wasted my guarantee on XIanyun by getting her early accidentally. Hopefully she ages well but right now she is completely useless for my acc, and not having the guarantee for a character i actually want is gonna bite me in the ass later.
This is a perfect banner for new players because most of the characters are from (Liyue) and (Sumeru) So they can easily farm all they materials easy since they both RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER ! And both the 5 stars bring a new playstyle for newer player that’s EASY TO USE! And having a 4 star plunge character like gaming ! Who is op as fuck for early game and a 5 star that’s meant for him and team wide heals as well….so if I got my friend to start playing agin he would have a easy time farming noelle as well and the rest of the Sumeru and Liyue characters New players don’t think about OP damage when they start they think dose it work and dose it feel good to play …and all these characters can work together and slid they got some free characters to go with nahida most elements in the game works with her pyro/electro/hydro

maybe zajef should checkout faruzan multipliers. at c6 shes really strong in quickswap with jean, bennett and furina. you basically just quickswap between faruzan, jean and bennett every 6 seconds and build all of them on crit. i could imagine similar quickswap teams with xianyun instead of jean.
Dude that reminds of an old event where you get to run Faruzan and Scara in the same team in a 10 minute dungeon. At the end of a dungeon run you get to see stats on who got the biggest dps, most kills etc. What really got to me was the single strongest hit wasn’t scara but Faruzan. Her E multiplier is actually insane and C6 it’s actually worth investing a bit of your artifact stats into dps while still managing ER
Dude's actually a clown trying to get people to not spend money because he hates Gacha. You're right. She's stupidly good. I can still improve her but she already does stupid levels of damage in abyss and outside of it. Her skill has a tiny CD so you can basically spam it and her CAs are no joke when buffed. Her ult hits INSANELY hard and has a huge aoe, and her skill, the most important thing to level imho, is constantly activating during her ult and when you are attacking so it's doing huge amounts of damage, getting value from her own buffs. You can absolutely run Xianyun as a main dps and Faruzan as a support. I have Faruzan on Mare Hunter, Lyney's bow, Zhongli with Tenacity or Noblesse, Furina at C6 and Bennett at C6 and you can get some FUNNY good numbers on her.
Tossed 77 pulls on CR because she is mommy bird and I like her lost to QiQi, got mad and used 40 pulls on Nahida banner got C1 and C2 on the same tenpull. Im on the moon right now!

@@marcusaurelius4777 She's also a perfectly fine VV-anemo applier at C0, thanks to her high damage, incredibly strong grouping, and not even needing her burst outside of C6/Anemo carry parties, since she can just spam skill + Hurricane arrows for anemo application/grouping needs. C0 Burst is mostly just a minor bonus you use if you have it available, but otherwise doesn't matter unless you're running a anemo carry. She does need her A1 though to make the charge-shot near instant, so someone experimenting at A0 might think she's clunkier than she really is once you've got her first Ascension. I was annoyed at getting a copy of her off standard on an alt account due to so many people shitting on C0 Faruzan, but it turns out she's amazing if you don't have Sucrose or Kazuha. If she actually had non-anemo specific support capabilities, she's be on the same level as those two as her kit is otherwise similar to Sucrose in function with Kazuha's damage and grouping.
If you're a new player and needs dendro units, Nahida is definitely better to pull on. there isn't a good dendro unit alternative so Nahida is definitely better especially her weapon.
while they're not great (depending on the team) collei and DMC are satisfactory enough for early game players if they really do want to use dendro teams. obvious Nahida is better but outside of Yaoyao they're like your best 4 star option.
@@hedgehugsCollei in general is just a bad unit, its a reason why you dont see people using her in most teams. DMC is good but lacks energy generation and the setup with his ult. Sure you cab fix the energy issue with artifacts or a weapon but i doubt new players can balance that out while retaining small bits of em. While his ult can be troublesome against pyro enemies. One hit with a pyro element eveything is ruined. Yaoyao is the only good option gere with the downside as you have to ficus whether she is focused as a healer or as a dendro applicator with em stats on her Nahida is significantly better has her buffs will guranteed last longer as well as dendro appication.
Well i pulled also because of faruzan but also i really like gaming xianyun and nahida so in 350 pulls i got xianyun nahida and c6 faruzan and c6 gaming and both nahidas and xianyuns signature weapon so i really got everything
Terrible for new players, awesome for me. Allowed me to get C6 Faruzan, Xiangyun with lucky weapon, and I'm C4 Gaming rn hoping for 1 more so I can C6 during lantern rite to build a second solid team next to Xiao for Xiangyun
She can be a hypercarry with no other Anemo unit at C6. I ran her in abyss just now with Zhongli, Furina, and Bennett and she was doing over like 200k on the ult cast with 100k E casts and like 70k CAs. It's absolutely fucking stupid how much damage she does. Her ult has a huge aoe as well, and some of the best CC in the game. DPS Faruzan is definitely a thing.
It will indeed happen during this patch, but a bit later on. Basically, you'll be able to get it by playing the main event (the so called "lantern rite"), which should be starting in a few days now
I pulled Gaming c6 from Nahida banner cuz lost 50/50 on her . So my question is he really viable for damage for abyss. My resources are limited atm cuz i builded Navia and Furina recently and working on Kuki and Nahida . I can't do 36 stars.
"Bad for new players" is kind of misleading. The thing is, you don't just happen upon C6, you kind of have to target it at some point. Having 3 such characters grouped together means you have a high chance of building someone who wants their c6 closer to c6. I finally got a c0 Sara on a random non-rate-up banner over 2 years since her 1st Raiden banner (I got Raiden C0 and no Sara). If you want to someday have a character, esp at c6, you should, well, roll for them. Gaming at least is solid and fun, even at lower cons. All the 4 star characters "good for new players" are in the starglitter shop anyways.
... no new player should aim for c6, even more on a banner that has no xiangling, qingqiu, sucrose, fischl and bennet, unless you are a whale of course.

Got baited by damage showcases and thought I needed C6 to maker her great. Tried sniping for a C6 Ning on Ayaka’s banner and had to pull my credit card out. Never ever snipe for a 4-star if you don’t want the 5-star. Luckily I liked Ayaka’s fighting style but doesn’t mean I should’ve pulled for the banner when I wasn’t planning to pull Ayaka in the first place. Now my Ning is collecting dust. Sadge
you need to go make a beginner account, start from zero. because your advice is wiiiiiildly out of touch. you've been playing for 3 years, you seem to think new players have access to sucrose, and they don't. faruzan is a great VV holder and crowd controller at low cons.
also new players have a ton of wishes from the main archon quests and story quests. good beginner advice is "what 5 stars to go for" not "here's the relative strength of 4 star characters when you have their c6"
Its just good cause it only works on her, also the buff it provides for the team is not that big (40em). Even if its the option who give nahida her biggest dmg output in the majority of her teams she dosent have too much dmg (cause quicken don't use to be the aura) So in general run her with her weapon instead of fav use to be a minimal improvement (cause fav let you run less ER in the subdps and more dmg stats) And also nahida and sucrose is the only characters who take full advantage of that weapon (its not that is a bad weapon, is just a very niche weapon, and not broken weapon)
Nahida's weapon is definitely good, but probably not to the point where most would want to pull it (I still did lol). It is BiS or really close to BiS for Nahida herself (obviously), Yae Miko, Kokomi and Barbara in Nilou bloom (although Sac. Frags can beat it in practice thanks to its passive that allows higher skill uptime for those two), Lisa, and Sucrose if her ER needs are already met. It can also be situationnally good on other characters that can use its EM main stat, but that's about it - which is not too bad all things considered
After 3 IDENTICAL 10 pulls in a row, where I literally got Noelle and the exact same set of 3 stars, I'm done. Gacha games are so full of crap with their "random" rates.

I think Furina actually eclipses Nahida in being friendly to new players, as long as they have a party healer. Environmental threats like balethunder become a non-issue with Furina on the field. And being able to heal your party without using a burst is a huge quality of life boon in the overworld.

0:25 Stop talking. It's AMAZING that Faruzan is running on a banner THAT ISN'T WANDERER! Because now people don't need to pull him or his constalations if they don't want to. They can instead further buff their Xiao. Also, getting Faruzan to C6 isn't a bad thing because that will unlock a lot of Wanderer's or Xiao's potential when you do get them. And she also has grouping attached to her burst at C6 and grouping and especially grouping over time is GREAT to have.
My favorite thing about this banner is already having c6 Noelle (c3 Faruzan, no Gaming yet) and then the three 4 stars I pull are Noelle, Noelle, and Noelle

Yeah it's unfortunate, both Wanderer REALLY likes faruzan's c6, so unless you've been specifically saving for them it's pretty unlikely a new player will be able to reliably get all of faruzan's cons in only 1 banner. Kind of a sad reality that happens when characters are so reliant on their c6

You know, I was thinking yesterday that they should put more characters on Paimon's bargains. I wonder if it would help if they put Faruzan and Kujo Sara on Paimon's bargains. That way, it would be slightly easier (given enough time) to get the C6 that makes them useful. But yeah, I'm really glad they aren't on the beginner banner, that would suck.

The moment when Noelle helped me to complete all Abyss for all stars for 3 years already and never had a problem to casually clean up the whole Abyss from the first try, but yes, C6 is critical for her, but Noelle is the character which was good for me to clean the Abyss and collect all Primos there casually without retries or having some hard times to do that, but still do not get why Minmaxers do not love her that much, she is very easy, she is literally unkillable in Abyss 12 and she just casually kills everything if it's is not going to fly or underground and her attack range makes easy to begin damaging enemies without running around, just kill one, turn and kill another if he was behind you, if all enemies are in front of her, they just all die, if enemy is a boss, then things are even easier... And after Furina release she became even stronger.
Furina, Xiangling, Yun Jin, Noelle (before Furina was using Xingqui in this team and Kokomi in Nahida's team and never experienced a single problem to complete Abyss 12 9*) - Nahida, Xingqui, Kuki, Keqing or Fischl.
Noelle is the hyper super cleaner upper when you need a character on your team that won't die. Not everyone has Zhongli, but everyone does have the Wondermaid.
@@Lennis01 Yea, dunno, maybe I'm that good player on her, cos all minmaxers who I see are almost hating her and saying that she is not good at all, but she always was my "Secret Weapon" when I stuck on any stage of Abyss, especially on 12th floor, she simply annihilates everything there.
Also Zhongli is different of team, Noelle is not as much of a shielder, but more a Universal unit, she is not maybe best in each role separately, but she is good at doing roles she is doing all together and quite well.
Also she is one of the best characters for beginners, you simply can give her all trash Defence artifacts and she will work perfectly, in middle game she have problems, but in late game and if players spends time to build her the she shows insane effectiveness and after Furina release she became even stronger.
Also her good part is that you can swap her and her Burst still stays active, unlike same Itto, when you can simply waste the whole Burst only cos you need to heal, shield of baff from another character... Itto is good, but for me Noelle is much more comfortable and also I do not care about healer and shielder in my team anymore, so 2 slots are empty to put anyone there....
Noelle its a VERY beginner friendly unit. She is the only source of shield (except if you randomly obtains Diona, Layla, etc) and healing (with Barbara) in the early game, with the benefit that you have to hit enemies = dps. Of course, she falls off in the mid-late game when you obtains more specialized units and her true form is locked on Constellation 6. In the late late game, when you have good offield dps (Furina, Yelan, etc etc) or good buffers and you have C6 she rises again.
IMHO the only bad beginner unit is Faruzan, since her role is too niche, her ER requirements are atrocious, the lack of Favonius/Sacrificial and real potention locked at constellation 6.

Im glad it worked out for you but spamming skills with almost anyone else low AR will do more damage lol. Noelle's sheild has a comically long cooldown for total newbies and barbuh is all the healing you need plus she can proc HB. Watching mtashed just kinda wreck low AR mobs with even copium starter HB was rather enlightening tbh.
If noelle had a more damaging skill and didnt have to compete with barbruh for a free healer slot, I'd say she's better. But lets be honest at super low AR she isnt doing much damage and wont be getting her burst often. There's better ways to go.
@@wilburforce8046 Sure, she's not super optimal, but for someone just starting the game and still trying to figure out how all the moving pieces work (There are SO MANY things you have to remember to level up, and the whole team rotation mechanic is very different from any game I've played before), she just kinda works without necessarily having to build her just right. Yeah you're not gonna be burning enemies down, but you also feel safe with her shield and all-team healing. I didn't actually realize she could be a legit DPS until months into playing, and by that time I had collected enough other characters to put together an actually synergistic team.
It took me 163 pulls to get Nahida so now i'm a proud owner of C6 Faruzan, C6 Noelle and even C5 Gaming KEKW

At C6 she provides 30% anemo shred, 38.25% anemo damage bonus, flat damage for 32% of her base ATK, 40% crit damage, plus a ton of energy, plus grouping. If we look at C6 4* / C0 5*, no other character comes close to this level of buffs in their niche!
This was quite a nice banner for me tbh... Since I got Furina I started building my Noelle but she wasn't c6 yet. Luckily in 40 pulls I got 2 Noelle copies (now she's c5, might buy her from the shop idk), c2 Gaming (he looked fun to play so yay), Xianyun and Keqing right AFTER so I got the banner 5*, a c2 5* I actually use and no 50/50 for the next character banner. Feeling so lucky I used the remaining 30 wishes (still have around 80 in primogems) on the weapon banner and got the fan... I might've used up all this year's luck in a single day... 😅
As a toxic hu tao main who would rather let her die than healing her, using xianyun with her hurts but i didnt expect it to be so fun that i forgor she gets healed, still wouldnt heal her with other units
just use furina so you can ignore the low health buff kek

I feel Faruzan is fun for overworld, aoe ranged attaks are good for hunting birds and at c1 she can permastagger hilichurls. Note that my opinion is objective and not at all biased by her VA being Hocchan.
C0 Faruzan is great for a new account if you don't have Sucrose or Kazuha. Her A1 fixes the clunkiness of her skill (while similar to Sara's, it doesn't have that extra step that makes Sara extra clunky to use), and without Wanderer/Xiao/Heizou you don't even care about her burst (it's only relevant to other parties if it's C6), so her ER is irrelevant.
Her skill + Hurricane-arrow spam is all you use C0 Faruzan for, and use her burst if it's available just to use it. C0 Faruzan's burst isn't terribly useful unless you're running an anemo carry since it's application isn't that great and it can't trigger VV while she's off-field, so it's really only buffing her personal damage in most parties.
However she does a ton of damage with Pressurized Collapse and is the only character that actually has Kazuha levels of grouping, since similar to Kazuha, her pressurized collapse causes massive poise damage and Kazuha levels of suction, allowing her to pull enemies that normally wouldn't be pulled and really yank smaller stuff, and can literally spam it due to the short cooldown on her skill (C1 honestly is overkill as her skill usually comes back before you fire the 2nd shot, so you basically ahve to double-tap with it to get any use out of it, which is good since her first one reduces enemy Anemo resistance so the 2nd one hits harder).
I got her off standard on an alt account and don't have Sucrose or Kazuha, and she's been my main VV/anemo as none of the characters I have can really do the same job for grouping or don't even approach the levels of damage she can do with basically no investment.
@@ZanathKariashi I can reliably get off 2 charge shots with 2 seconds left on skill timer. Just hold left click, no fancy cancels, but you need to get a feel for when it is ok to shoot (its a bit faster than visual indicator) Not aimed shots, just shooting ground or point-blank range, my snap aim is not great, if i have to think where to aim then it can easily take 6 seconds, yes.

My faruzan was c4 and was hoping to get her c6. After literally 110 pulls I got only 1 faruzan and now I’m near soft pity so can’t risk getting a 5* cause I already got both Xianyun and Nahida. Really mad how getting the 4* can be this rough.

Me who thought this was a great spot to collect constellations on all three 4-stars, but lucked into early Xianyun + Ga-Ming in 15 pulls, sooo... that's that, I guess.
Despite having both Xianyun and Nahida, I choose Xianyun's C1 over their weaps because it's a HUGE overworld powercreep.
For real, I never had so much fun exploring and hopping around even with other good OW units like Kazuha, Wanderer and Yelan. Definately worth it if you value that over meta
Nahida was my first 5 star I'm pretty sure (I started right before her 1st run), and even though I couldn't ascend either of them past 40 at the time, she and Yae Miko basically carried me through the first 2/3 of the story.
Yep, exactly what happened to me too as I started during 3.2, and I gotta say that farming Nahida was much easier than Yae Miko (I love Enkanomiya now, but I sure didn't love it back then when I had to bruteforce my way through it as well as the entirety of Inazuma just to get to that freaking boss lmao), so yeah Nahida is pretty beginner-friendly
As someone who wasn’t fully conscious when they started playing, I loved Noelle since she was my only consistent healer like I looked forward to her on field healing my whole party

Bro, Gaming is one of if not the strongest 4 star DPS units they’ve ever released. He will be massively useful to new players. I guess the only downside is how easy his mats are to get, and artifacts. Being new and needing to farm marecheusee Hunter set can be awkward. It’s nice he uses liyue mats tho. And Noelle is a solid support/healer.

Noelle is actually good for low AR's, where you don't need her c6 for dmg cuz it's early game....Her cons are useful for them even if you don't get to c6 and her mats are easy to get. Plus new players can go for Nahida...Gaming's mats are easy to get but his boss drops wont be for lower AR's
I am not sure suggesting "new player" waiting for next time Nahida banner to comes around is a useful advice. Six or eight months later, such "new player" probably wouldn't be "new player" anymore.

Is it worth it to keep going for C1 xianyun in this banner or wait for rerun? I do plan to get her c2 eventually but only through rerun(s), but her E is insane for chenyu vale and made wanderer E feels like caveman's tool for exploration.

I need to dispel some Faruzan slander. She's not just "pretty good" at C6. I can attest to you that her ult and skill hit so hard that you can literally use her as a hypercarry. That's how strong she is and how much damage she does on her own. Her skill has a nigh insignificant cooldown that allows for a swap and use, and then back to her again meaning you can spam her ult basically. I'm not kidding you when I had a team of Faruzan, Furina, Zhongli and Bennett for this abyss and it absolutely obliterated that side of the abyss. Her buffs are stupidly good. Not just "alright". She allows Heizou, Lynette, Xiao, and Wanderer to feel like nukes. Obviously, you can pair her with Xianyun to make Xianyun a dps. So no, she's not just "alright" at C6, she's literally a 5 star character easily at C6. Her damage on her CAs, skills, and burst are no joke WHILE being a "support/subdps" for other units.
I think 'pretty good' (in reference to Faruzan C6) is an awfully conservative view how on JUST how much she can change the strength of Xiao / Wanderer teams (relative to other units).
I managed to get Xianyun on 58 pulls, along with 4 Faruzan constellations. Im saving to go completely crazy monkey mode on Neuvlllete banner, but i dont want to skip on the chance to get C6 Faruzan now. Only need 1 more constellation. Guess its worth throwing an extra 20 wishes her way. Im thinking ill still get 400 wishes when Neuvillete banner comes along (currently at 268).
As a AR 26 player, i shouldn't have pulled on the banner, because it wasted my guarantee on XIanyun by getting her early accidentally. Hopefully she ages well but right now she is completely useless for my acc, and not having the guarantee for a character i actually want is gonna bite me in the ass later.

maybe zajef should checkout faruzan multipliers. at c6 shes really strong in quickswap with jean, bennett and furina. you basically just quickswap between faruzan, jean and bennett every 6 seconds and build all of them on crit. i could imagine similar quickswap teams with xianyun instead of jean.
Dude that reminds of an old event where you get to run Faruzan and Scara in the same team in a 10 minute dungeon. At the end of a dungeon run you get to see stats on who got the biggest dps, most kills etc. What really got to me was the single strongest hit wasn’t scara but Faruzan. Her E multiplier is actually insane and C6 it’s actually worth investing a bit of your artifact stats into dps while still managing ER
Dude's actually a clown trying to get people to not spend money because he hates Gacha. You're right. She's stupidly good. I can still improve her but she already does stupid levels of damage in abyss and outside of it. Her skill has a tiny CD so you can basically spam it and her CAs are no joke when buffed. Her ult hits INSANELY hard and has a huge aoe, and her skill, the most important thing to level imho, is constantly activating during her ult and when you are attacking so it's doing huge amounts of damage, getting value from her own buffs. You can absolutely run Xianyun as a main dps and Faruzan as a support. I have Faruzan on Mare Hunter, Lyney's bow, Zhongli with Tenacity or Noblesse, Furina at C6 and Bennett at C6 and you can get some FUNNY good numbers on her.
Tossed 77 pulls on CR because she is mommy bird and I like her lost to QiQi, got mad and used 40 pulls on Nahida banner got C1 and C2 on the same tenpull. Im on the moon right now!

My dude at C6 she IS a hypercarry Anemo dps. Please look at showcases of her, it's insane.
@@marcusaurelius4777 She's also a perfectly fine VV-anemo applier at C0, thanks to her high damage, incredibly strong grouping, and not even needing her burst outside of C6/Anemo carry parties, since she can just spam skill + Hurricane arrows for anemo application/grouping needs. C0 Burst is mostly just a minor bonus you use if you have it available, but otherwise doesn't matter unless you're running a anemo carry.
She does need her A1 though to make the charge-shot near instant, so someone experimenting at A0 might think she's clunkier than she really is once you've got her first Ascension.
I was annoyed at getting a copy of her off standard on an alt account due to so many people shitting on C0 Faruzan, but it turns out she's amazing if you don't have Sucrose or Kazuha. If she actually had non-anemo specific support capabilities, she's be on the same level as those two as her kit is otherwise similar to Sucrose in function with Kazuha's damage and grouping.
If you're a new player and needs dendro units, Nahida is definitely better to pull on.
there isn't a good dendro unit alternative so Nahida is definitely better especially her weapon.
while they're not great (depending on the team) collei and DMC are satisfactory enough for early game players if they really do want to use dendro teams.
obvious Nahida is better but outside of Yaoyao they're like your best 4 star option.

DMC is good but lacks energy generation and the setup with his ult. Sure you cab fix the energy issue with artifacts or a weapon but i doubt new players can balance that out while retaining small bits of em. While his ult can be troublesome against pyro enemies. One hit with a pyro element eveything is ruined.
Yaoyao is the only good option gere with the downside as you have to ficus whether she is focused as a healer or as a dendro applicator with em stats on her
Nahida is significantly better has her buffs will guranteed last longer as well as dendro appication.

She can be a hypercarry with no other Anemo unit at C6. I ran her in abyss just now with Zhongli, Furina, and Bennett and she was doing over like 200k on the ult cast with 100k E casts and like 70k CAs. It's absolutely fucking stupid how much damage she does. Her ult has a huge aoe as well, and some of the best CC in the game. DPS Faruzan is definitely a thing.

"Bad for new players" is kind of misleading. The thing is, you don't just happen upon C6, you kind of have to target it at some point. Having 3 such characters grouped together means you have a high chance of building someone who wants their c6 closer to c6.
I finally got a c0 Sara on a random non-rate-up banner over 2 years since her 1st Raiden banner (I got Raiden C0 and no Sara).
If you want to someday have a character, esp at c6, you should, well, roll for them.
Gaming at least is solid and fun, even at lower cons.
All the 4 star characters "good for new players" are in the starglitter shop anyways.
... no new player should aim for c6, even more on a banner that has no xiangling, qingqiu, sucrose, fischl and bennet, unless you are a whale of course.
and all the four stars on this banner, are only useful for new players if they are c6, or even then, they are not usable

@@conscriptreporting6265That was my mistake when I first started playing Genshin. Made my first DPS Ning and even crowned her normal attack. Got baited by damage showcases and thought I needed C6 to maker her great. Tried sniping for a C6 Ning on Ayaka’s banner and had to pull my credit card out. Never ever snipe for a 4-star if you don’t want the 5-star. Luckily I liked Ayaka’s fighting style but doesn’t mean I should’ve pulled for the banner when I wasn’t planning to pull Ayaka in the first place. Now my Ning is collecting dust. Sadge
you need to go make a beginner account, start from zero. because your advice is wiiiiiildly out of touch. you've been playing for 3 years, you seem to think new players have access to sucrose, and they don't. faruzan is a great VV holder and crowd controller at low cons.
also new players have a ton of wishes from the main archon quests and story quests. good beginner advice is "what 5 stars to go for" not "here's the relative strength of 4 star characters when you have their c6"

Why is Nahida’s weapon just okay? If she is a driver in double hydro hyperbloom isn’t it pretty good unless you have yae’s signature?
Its just good cause it only works on her, also the buff it provides for the team is not that big (40em). Even if its the option who give nahida her biggest dmg output in the majority of her teams she dosent have too much dmg (cause quicken don't use to be the aura)
So in general run her with her weapon instead of fav use to be a minimal improvement (cause fav let you run less ER in the subdps and more dmg stats)
And also nahida and sucrose is the only characters who take full advantage of that weapon
(its not that is a bad weapon, is just a very niche weapon, and not broken weapon)

Nahida's weapon is definitely good, but probably not to the point where most would want to pull it (I still did lol). It is BiS or really close to BiS for Nahida herself (obviously), Yae Miko, Kokomi and Barbara in Nilou bloom (although Sac. Frags can beat it in practice thanks to its passive that allows higher skill uptime for those two), Lisa, and Sucrose if her ER needs are already met. It can also be situationnally good on other characters that can use its EM main stat, but that's about it - which is not too bad all things considered
After 3 IDENTICAL 10 pulls in a row, where I literally got Noelle and the exact same set of 3 stars, I'm done. Gacha games are so full of crap with their "random" rates.

@@LaziotaDepends on which teams you're using her on and how lucky you get. Obviously if you're using her on dendro teams Floating Dreams is gonna be better. Widsth is naturally better in burst-like scenarios... Unless you get the EM buff, then... Yeah lol

I think Furina actually eclipses Nahida in being friendly to new players, as long as they have a party healer. Environmental threats like balethunder become a non-issue with Furina on the field. And being able to heal your party without using a burst is a huge quality of life boon in the overworld.
