I know this video will probably be a bit controversial. I think Finalmouse is one of the most intersting and cool brands out there, but there is definitely room for them to be more consumer friendly and a bit higher quality.
I've gotten the ULX tarik. I've sent the mouse back 3 times for a fix, within the last 2 months. Each time they half fixed it, until finally I begged them with a long letter as to why they should fix it fully. Finally, the tech sent me a video and stated that because of the materials they use to make it light, flexing and creaking on most units is normal. A 180 dollar mouse creeking and flexing is NORMAL. Let that sink in, that's all you need to know about final mouse.
@@rokulaj7576 lol are u ok bro? Of course I can choose to buy it, but I didn’t choose to have QC issues on a $180 mouse. Not to mention I sent it in 3 times for a fix, for it to still not be 100%. It’s the disregard they have for their customers, responding to emails 3 days later, refusing to fix. I didn’t mention performance. I don’t need to, because if I feel like the mouse will crack apart in my hands with each swipe, performance means nothing to me. Coupled with the fact they have awful customer service.
agreed. Bought this mouse for my son, and he claw grips pretty hard. The first time he unboxed it infront of me, I was able to tell a noticeable squeeze in the bottom of the shell. He tried shaking it off as he had waited a month for it, but everytime he pressed it on his mouse pad, a loud squeek would be apparent and it WOULD affect performance. After emailing final mouse they took 4 days to respond!! Very poor customer service, eventually we returned the mouse. I have now seen many videos saying the same thing, that this company is not reliable in hardware.
Finalmouse has always been a QC lottery. But it really seems like this ULX line might be the worst one of them all. I had a starlight and I got lucky and the QC has been fine to this day. But Man its like every video and comment I see, someone has something bad to say about ULX. Wow what a fail.

I got my ULX Aceu edition for a month, and have been using it for gaming and daily tasks. My unit got no yellowing problems most people seem to have, but it may because of how often I clean my mouse. As for creaking or flex, I've only noticed it on the bottom side of the mouse, and creaking on some lower and top parts of the side, which for me, doesn't affect gameplay. The performance has been great and I really enjoy the mouse.
I thought I was in the same boat. I went since the initial drop without any crazy yellowing but then all of the sudden it got horrible. the entire top shell is yellow, and after using 70% ispropyl as they reccomended, it made it even worse. Definitely not buying another unit in the future unless they fix this.
@@unlimited7117 I think mine got ruined because I listened to FM support and used 70% isopropyl on the mouse which probably stripped the coating or something. It might’ve just leeched the coloring out my my microfiber cloth as well which I’ve never seen on any mouse before
Finalmouse unfortunately also has a fanatic issue where a lot of their fans defend blatant issues strictly because it “doesn’t impact performance” which is like saying yeah I get it, the bumper of your car fell off but it’s fine because it still works

I had the Tenz Small and sold it of. It had held up better then most and I even had a straight scrollwheel! But it was always double clicking. You can do the pcb change mod but that is insane that you have to basicly buy a shell for 189 then buy another mouse for the internals and swop them to then get a real mice. I have my X2 Bruce lee which isnt perfect for my hands but it does what it is suposed to. for half the cost.

I kind of agree, but just so you know, it's not discoloration-it's the coating that has something like pores. Basically, sweat and dust can get embedded in that coating, but it's cleanable. It's a really specific process, but you can find instructions on how to clean it on UA-cam. If your mouse has any bigger issues, you can either send it to Finalmouse for repair or fix it yourself with help from others on their Discord. You can also send it to them for cleaning, if I'm not mistaken. Personally, I haven't had any problems with mine so far; the yellowing is not even noticeable, and I play a lot, around 6-8 hours every day. However, I know I'll have to clean it someday in the future.
Appreciate the comment! I did purchased an ultrasonic cleaner per recommendation from wasabi, it “helped” but did not get rid of it entirely. Certainly not the end of the world, just disappointing since it’s a premium brand.
I been maining the Capetown and ulx for the longest time, never had any discoloration, think it might be user specific. As for other qc issues, yea they could def improve. Most notably there are so many issues with the scroll wheel.

You literally choose whether you want to buy it or not. And the creaking does not change the performance.
