The standard of this record is just breathtakingly high. Thunder have always put out quality records. They are clearly a band at the pinnacle of their craft.

I've seen this band so many times and never tire of their music. It just doesn't get any better than this.I just can't understand why they're not up there with the likes of Bon Jovi, Areosmith,Deep Purple and so on.
Totally agree; my theory is the 'big' bands you mention built up a huge fanbase before things got a lot more difficult post grunge/funk metal when rock fans seemed to rely on the old guard through nostalgia or start listening to new bands that didn't have that 'classic' rock approach.
@@tjg1964 I think cuz they came out near the end of the 80s metal explosion and grunge was about to take over. I think Backstreet Symphony came out in 89 or 90 right?
promoters asleep at the wheel for many many unchecked years. should have been sacked and replaced with someone who could be enthusiastic about the band. would have been a very different story.
definitely listen to their previous efforts. i have been following since they erupted on the music scene in 1990 with Backstreet Symphony and their first big hit song 'love walked In.'
Danny hasn't lost that awesome voice (unlike his poodle rock hair) check out the back street symphony album, most under rated band ever......... I also like listening to Danny on Planet Rock Radio on a sunday. Can't wait for the new album

Absolutely frigging brilliant!!! Well, what can one expect from one of the best bands to emerge from the UK in the last 30 years or so?? Pure class, as always.
As a 60 year lover of Rock and Roll 🎸,I have been honored to to listen 👂 to these lads! A perfect balance between tremendous vocals and instrumental magic 🪄! I hope 🤞 to one ☝️ day experience a Thunder event in person ( Am even willing and fly across the pond to experience this as the lads might not tour the USA 🇺🇸.)! All the Right Noises is a masterpiece for the heart ❤️,soul and mind!
There touring this year well here in the UK anyway in may , I'm off to see the lads at the armadillo Glasgow on the 21st ugly kid Joe are supporting them here!
Me too. I remember going to the last gig at the old Wembley Stadium in ‘95 to see Bon Jovi … but, only really went to see Ugly Kid Joe & Thunder. Got really drunk after they’d been on. Actually, it was a similar story on Clapham Common a few years ago where Thunder were magnificent. Bonamassa was pretty good, too. By the time Aerosmith came on I was so ripped to the tits I didn’t care, lol.
anything new by this legendary band is worth listening to and buying to add to any music collection. Thus band never seems to fail when delivering new material.
Danny, please keep on keeping on! Your voice and your personality were sent from above! No matter what has happened to you! Of course, you will win, and we all will remain in the first row to help you doing so! You'll never walk alone!

Sounds great...Danny vocals are as good as ever and it's just a great solid hard rocking tune...Thunder always delivers..really looking forward for the new album to land.
From Canada here, on a rare night a radio station in Calgary Alberta played "Backstreet Symphony" and I got to hear one of my favorite bands of all time, so glad they didn't retire and stop making great music
Everything on this song is spot on solid rock. Absolutely beautiful, the mixing is so clear that you can isolate easily each instrument and singing from all those magnificant musicians. Looking forward to the whole album.
Why do I have to read ''the most underrated band'' under every Thunder song I come across. It truly is the worst compliment you can give any artist.. Thunder just IS, they don't need any pity.
"All The Right Noises" is a return to the full-throttle sound of Thunder that has seen them create a hugely successful 30-plus-year career at the forefront of British rock, all built around the lifelong friendship of vocalist extraordinaire Danny Bowes and songwriting genius and guitarist Luke Morley. "All The Right Noises" is an intense confection of illicit charms that reasserts their authority as the number one band in the land. With a set of melodic blues-rock songs, a couple heavier, a couple of ballads, and with lyrics that are always worth really listening to! We get some echoes of classic Thunder tracks, and we get a couple of eye-opening variations on the theme that prove the band has certainly not rested on any laurels or stuck to a formula. Recorded in the months leading up to the first Covid-19 lockdown, it was originally due for release in September 2020. Strange to reflect then on how much of the new material appears to address the challenging new world we now inhabit. But it is interesting how if you look at some of the tracks through the prism of Covid, they still make a lot of sense. The volcanic lead single from the album, "Last One Out Turn Off The Lights", could easily be mistaken for world-ending lockdown rage. But it’s about Brexit, but you could apply it to everything else." The track is indicative of both the ferocity and message of the album as a whole, with subjects tackled including depression, mental health, and diversity. The LP versions feature a stunning pop-out of the "Singing Ringing Tree", which appears on the album's glorious artwork. The photo cover art was shot by the band's long-term collaborator Jason Joyce. The sculpture, which also appears in this video "Last One Out Turn Off The Lights", is set in Burnley, Lancashire, and resembles a tree which harnesses the energy of the wind to create a choral, discordant sound. With their most recent success, Thunder have proven themselves as vital now as when they emerged in 1990. Fantastic old fashioned bluesey rock from a band that were one of my favourites in the late 80s and 90s, along with Scottish rockers GUN and Def Leppard.
I can't believe I heard about this band for the first time just two days ago. I can't recall hearing them on the radio, ever. I was working the other night and streaming music from UA-cam Music with my hearing protectors on. I was listening to some new releases playlist and I'm glad that I did. Rock on, boys!
This album kicks ass! Seriously, I can't praise this album enough. The Live version on cd 2 of the deluxe version are a pleasant surprise too. Their best work top to bottom since their debut 30 years ago, the classic Backstreet Symphony.
Just heard the whole 11 stracks. DEFINITELY one of the best Thunder albums ever. Really 11 bombastic Songs.. Hard Rock at it's best and some great ballads... I'm really flashed !!!! Thank you guys !!!!!
One of my favorite bands and my mum manged to get all their autographs for me back in the late eighties in her pub in broadstairs kent...thank you guys and keep rocking.
I wondered where all the protest songs had gone, brilliant lads!! not only great timing for this one but also the best rock song in years. Thanks a lot and keep going 👍🎸🎤
There's still plenty of bands making protest songs, unfortunately not many in the rock genre though. Dive into punk and rap/hip hop and there are tons.
Has any other band released such consistently great music over such a long period of time? I can't think of many tbh. Been a fan since day 1 and we have matured together. Keep on rocking guys!
Wow..Excellent. I just accidently stumbled on to and thought why not have a listen .Every thing about this is fantastic.!!! I am intrigued I need to hear more from Thunder.
