It's been too long since I've listened to Colbie, it makes me feel guilty for moving on. I remember i was in the 5th or 6th grade when "Coco" was released, and the group of girls i wanted to fit in with were all listening to it. I looked Colbie up and fell in love with her music, and later bought the album. She brings back memories for me of cold December evenings/nights and feeling warm inside, like i'm in some tropical place far away.
I've never heard this song other than on the Muzak at the store I work at, but it always relaxes me when I do hear it, so I decided to take down some of the lyrics and look it up when I got home. Never would have guessed it was Colbie, wow. How they pick their "singles" to play on there may always be a mystery, but they picked a good one here!
her songs remind me of some of the pop music that was out in like, the late 90s and early 2000s. sweet, innocent, fun, easy to sing along to. i guess that's one of the reasons i'm liking her music so much.

Her songs are so peaceful. Everytime I travel I heard them, it feels great when you're on a car ride. Or when it's raining.
Most of Colbie songs on the album are good. She is very down to earth person who conveys organic stress free music. You go girl.
