What always sticks out for me in this wonderful scene is how the most normal thing in it - Flanders with a baseball glove - is what always gets a laugh out of me.
I think what’s really interesting about it is that you’d expect Homer’s memory of Flanders to be unflattering. Like a grotesque monster, perhaps. So I think Flanders being so normal is a sort of subversive punchline, where the most unflattering thing Homer can conjure up is a baseball glove
It's hilarious, especially Marge in curlers waving a rolling pin going "Building a casino is wrong!! You can build a casino over my dead body!! Blah blah blah blah blah blah...!!"
If he had three heads in real life he’d be all-seeing and all-knowing. Nobody could shoplift or steal from the Kwik-E-Mart because Apu would always be watching.
He led a group of protestors to the nuclear power plant demanding safety for everyone, then Mr. Burns offered him a job as safety inspector and all the protestors cheered for him. This happened in the Season 1 episode - "Homer's Odyssey".
Agreed. I've always thought that it was the strongest season, even though most people seem to say 8. The Boy Who Knew To Much is probably my personal favourite episode. "That's chowdah! CHOWDAH! I'll kill you! I'll kill all of you! Especially those of you in the jury!"
The best part of Homer's flashback from his "photographic memory" is that he has massive muscles! _0f course_ Homer would give himself massive muscles! And a call from the president on top'a that! ...well OK, the old man in the bikini is ridiculous, but the wit of Homer's muscles... lol

It’s on his right hand is the little thing that makes me laugh
@@rexventura4603 Oh that makes it even better. Nice attention to detail. I never noticed.

@@Gloomdrake Flanders is already a monster for him. No reason to alter his perception
@@Gloomdrakeand that he’s a righty, to Homer
There's actually a small animation error in this scene. Apu is depicted with 3 heads, despite having 4 in all his other scenes.
D'oh!
I sure hope somebody got fired for that blunder.
I'm seeing double here. Eight Apus.
A four-headed Apu. Yawn.
I like how he remembers Marge with green hair despite the fact she's standing right in front of him and they've been married for 11 years
What? No way.
Homer color swapped the hair and dress.
That’s the joke
And the rainbow pearl necklace
i was at that meeting and that is EXACTLY how it went down
You were the alligator or the guy dressing a bikini?
maybe the guy with the penguin on his head
@@karenfan010 i'm pretty sure he was the penguin itself.
@José Humberto Bearded baby obviously
He was the bobblehead.
I don't know why but, I swear that the alligator-man is Hans Moleman.
I like the implication that Homer described what we saw to marge XD
that's why she left.
He remembers himself as a buff guy, lol.
😂
Mr Crocodile is my favourite Simpsons character
I'm here to stan the tentacled entity who hands Homer the phone
I'm here for the penguin on the guys head
Bearded baby and 3 headed Apu are runners up
Can’t take my eyes off professorial-looking guy in the jumbo thong bikini.
One of Apu’s heads is secretly working with the baby but the other two don’t know which one
It is funny how he confused color of the hair with the color of the dress on Marge
I must say that I feel this like one of the best scenes in the simpsons ever! ❤️
It's hilarious, especially Marge in curlers waving a rolling pin going "Building a casino is wrong!! You can build a casino over my dead body!! Blah blah blah blah blah blah...!!"
Makes me laugh homer made himself buff but still bald with a combover
😂
He’s ok with his baldness))
Homer's own world
Octopus "For you its the president"
Homer "Yello?"
"and then I said to the president, get THIS..."
The lady with her head on a spring...🤣
...then I said to the president, get this....so I said" kiss my asphalt "😅😅😅
No one even gonna talk about the sad guy in the bikini. 😂
I love how apu has multiple heads just like Hindu deities
😂
If he had three heads in real life he’d be all-seeing and all-knowing. Nobody could shoplift or steal from the Kwik-E-Mart because Apu would always be watching.
I love recolor marge
But what did he say to the president?
"Get this"
@@Nomoneynohamburger But Get What? xD
I wonder if it was the same thing Bart said to Mabel
"Kiss my asphalt"

Lol a Phonygraphic memory

How is this guy a nuclear safety inspector?
as Carl once said “It’s best not to think about it”

Looks like we got ourselves a Frank Grimes over here!
Only in Springfield lol.
I still think Season 5 of The Simpsons was one of the best Seasons. So many random and hilarious moments like Mr. Burns Bear and this episode

That Flanders bored face. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Did Simpsons just predict fear and loathing in las Vegas the movie
I wonder if Homer's memory is a parody of something.
Myello..
Love it!
The best part of Homer's flashback from his "photographic memory" is that he has massive muscles!
_0f course_ Homer would give himself massive muscles! And a call from the president on top'a that!
...well OK, the old man in the bikini is ridiculous, but the wit of Homer's muscles... lol
That meeting in an alternate reality
Man in a bikini? The Simpsons predicted it.
Named Mother Shaboomboom
Not really. It was a thing always in Hillcrest and Miami at pride parades
hahahahha
i dont get it, they just played the scene from earlier in the episode
No it's what Homer's idiotic and most likely drunk brain remembers how it went.
I'm surprised Homer didn't have hair in his flashback.
Lol 😆

Homer 'remembers' himself with muscles but not hair?
likely is for the annoying and nefarious ''Simpson gene'', anyway the mind of Homer ''works'' in very peculiars and funny forms, HA HA HA.
Not to mention he could have been Drunk as well.
Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah 😂😂😂😂
When the Simpsons were funny #JumpedSharkInTheLateNineties
I call late 90s-early 00s the Silver Age; after that, they really jumped it.
