I've been following HuaHua since 2019 and after his first performance (Inflammable and Explosive) on Singer in 2020 I never stopped searching and watching everything like an addiction. I love my addiction. In September last year I managed to go to 3 concerts in Beijing and I couldn't believe I was seeing him. Every song he composes or rearranges is incredible. Please, I would really like it if you could react to Fake Monk (rearrangement) or Qi Tian, Bullfighting, Madhouse, Illusion and Reality... you can find everything subtitled on the YT channel Hua Chenyu Eng Subs. I'm glad you liked my request! Hua Chenyu (called Hua Hua by his fans) is a chameleon. Even after hearing several of his songs you can never know what to expect from the next one. He's a great singer, composer and a true artist.
The original song "Nunchucks" is all rap. Hua Chenyu is brilliant in rearranging songs and making them completely his own.
From very intimitate, emotional songs like "Us" to very artistic masterpieces like "Fake Monk" he covers lots of different genres. Sometimes he keeps one style during the whole song and sometimes he mixes styles like in Nunchucks.
He is a big star in China with millions of fan. His fans are called "Martians" and his "Mars Concerts" are sold out in minutes.
He competed on the show "Singer" in 2018 (Jessie J won) and in 2020 when Hua Chenyu was the winner.

It was in the 2018 singer contest in China composed of professionals and by invitation. The 2 or 3 people we see in the mood are also competitors including Jessie Jay who won the contest and Hua Chenyu finished second but he won singer 2020. The judge is the audience (500 people). Nunchucks is a basic rap song that Hua Chenyu has arranged into 4 styles (classical, rock, rap and Chinese opera). Currently he is one of the leaders of the Chinese music scene Composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist. Thanks for the reaction and continue the journey please.❤
Hua Hua 🤩. He is amazing. Hua Chenyu is from China. His music is incredible. I love his own compositions the most. Every song is different. That is what I love so much about it. I discoverd him 5 years ago. Since then I am listening to his music every day and it never gets boring.
His Mars concerts are mindblowing. I flew from Germany to China last year to experience it. Best concerts I have ever been to. The stage 🤯, the sound 🤯, the lighting 🤯. Top notch. And of course to see him perform live 🤩🤯🤩. Incredible.

Thank you so much for this reaction. Hua is an amazing composer, arranger and singer. His concerts are phenomenal!! You have so much to discover! I would suggest listening to “Child”, also from Singer 2018 next. An entirely different genre. It will knock your socks off! It shows just how versatile an artist he is. You will find all the songs from Singer 2018 on the Hua Chenyu Eng Subs website. Then maybe “Qi Tian”, “Ashes from Fireworks”, “Bullfighting”, etc.
Hua Hua also once said that he views his singing as just another instrument in a musical composition. He feels that singing is not about the singer, but the singer's role is to complete a song. His vocals fills a void that all the other musical instruments cannot express ... which kind of explains why he seems to focus only on musical composition and not lyrics. So when Hua sings, either his own composition or one he has rearranged, he immerses himself in the song. It can take him some time after the song has finished to connect with his audience again. He does not write the lyrics, but works with the lyricist to help convey the emotions he wants in each song.

Or you could try 7 Personalities or maybe Child or Bullfighting or Illusions and Reality. Or my favorite the God Tree (from Wuhan concert). I could go on and on; I sort of already have. Numerous years HuaHua has been awarded as the most influential singer/songwriter in China. His upcoming concert sold out in one second.
