We used to listen Radio Pakistan only and loved the songs of M.hasan, Noor jahaan, N.Akhatar, A. Nayar , Gulam Ali Saheb. Afte the 4th Decade late when Utube came in existence we saw all those filmy personalities. Like Waahid Muraad we lost many rising stars in our India too. That upsto the God. @@arifshaikh3282 Anyways Waheed Murad was not a verstile hero and a performer nor he was capable to understand and accept the changes which are integral part of showbiz. He would have worked in different positions and played various roles but his best work is his songs picturization, his romantic scenes, his naughty and lively roles before intervals of the films and his hair style....He didn' did very memorable comedy and action films/roles or young to old characters. He never played very emotional characters, roles of different relations (Fater etc), good court scenes, revenge pursuing actions etc. He confined himself in a shell and didn't like to wear variety of get-ups. He also did film where solo hero was required and wherever he had to work with other heros, he remained under pressure. And then as he had confined himself only one type of hero but now subjects, fashions and film making styles were changing and Waheed was not accepting these changes and was insisting to hold on his own terms and conditions. But time had moved on and with it his tensions abd delression were increasing with it. Film world me sazishein hoti rehti hein, it's part of game. Actually, it was Waheed Murad himself who brought about his own fall.

The major problem waheed murad was he used to act as a so called hero not as the central character. If he acted for the central character he would has not to die. Because he had the talent of writing producing directing as well as acting. All of these qualities would bring him to the succsess even in 80s and on. @@arifshaikh3282 Anyways Waheed Murad was not a verstile hero and a performer nor he was capable to understand and accept the changes which are integral part of showbiz. He would have worked in different positions and played various roles but his best work is his songs picturization, his romantic scenes, his naughty and lively roles before intervals of the films and his hair style....He didn' did very memorable comedy and action films/roles or young to old characters. He never played very emotional characters, roles of different relations (Fater etc), good court scenes, revenge pursuing actions etc. He confined himself in a shell and didn't like to wear variety of get-ups. He also did film where solo hero was required and wherever he had to work with other heros, he remained under pressure. And then as he had confined himself only one type of hero but now subjects, fashions and film making styles were changing and Waheed was not accepting these changes and was insisting to hold on his own terms and conditions. But time had moved on and with it his tensions abd delression were increasing with it. Film world me sazishein hoti rehti hein, it's part of game. Actually, it was Waheed Murad himself who brought about his own fall.
